looks dodgy, what would stop mud and gunk getting in your boot while you're running on muddy grass?

No way it will work. It'll get clogged up, and if it doesn't, when it rains you're screwed.

They look like Golf Shoes at the front. It will never work, your feet will be soaked! I thought you bought shoes WHEN they got holes in, not buy shoes WITH holes in.

The adidas answer for vapors were f50 because they are one of adidas's lightest boots and before they were released to public adidas were saying something about f50s speed and such.

I think adidas is releasing a boot like this because they got some insider information that nike may be producing a dri-fit boot possibly cuz they look rediculous.

that doesn't really make sense... because dri-fit and climacool aren't really parrallel's...

    dri-fit=climalite

drifit has already been incorporated into boots but i assume u mean a boot made entirely of dri-fit?

explain this one please....what have you worn that's ClimaCool?

The guy who designed the Nike Presto even said himself... The Climacool running shoe is exactly what the Presto should have been.

The climacool trainers are great. You really can feel the difference. Keeps my feel cool when I run. It is definitely not as BS as the predator vamp system (helps to add curve to shots and passes? ha!).

I guess the downside is the non-waterproof problem. I, like many, am skeptical at how climacool may work in a football boot. Hopefully one of us will try it on and tell the rest of us! =)

i don't play in wet too too often, but when i have, my whole boot has become wet irregardless of weather i had some all weather spray on it or anything. (they were k-leather boots, so i'm not sure how wet your feet get in synthetics.

So with this boot, should u encounter a rain storm it won't really make a difference in your feet imo, no different then a leather boot. PErhaps the vent holes can even allow a way for the water to evaporate off your foot?

synthetics usually work great. my AZT II's did well in wet weather. and i think the climacool ones are ugly(reminds me of a pair of kobe's- they both look like moon boots.)
