I really dont understand what style Moyes is trying to implement? What is his vision? What is he trying to change? He took over a championship winning squad, and said that he wants to make some changes. What changes? To make them midtable?

I don't mind being called a fascist, though you meant it as an insult.

Do we really think that would be enough? Remember that many of you folks have been adding the caveat to any trophies we've won in recent years to our opponents capitulating.

That's why I'm confused that everyone is now waffling on about Moyes inhereting a team that won the league at a canter.

The narrative in March was that we were "somehow" walking away with it despite being mediocre.

Don't take this as a defense of Moyes though. He's certainly on the back foot now.

I think the point is Moyes has taken a squad that was at least capable of taking advantage of weak opposition and is making them look totally useless.

@barroldinho, you are confusing the narrative of the ABUs with the narrative of some of the fans including myself here.

We didn't win the league because of our opponents capitulating. We won it because we were easily the best of a bad lot, and therefore deserved it.

Any and all of the complaining was directed at acquisitions like Young/Valencia which directly contributed to us slipping more and more behind the likes of Bayern. And the general lack of cohesive tactics since CQ left the club but then everyone realizes that Fergie is no tactical genius.

Any kid who watches football would know that you are setting yourself up to fail by using Buttner and Jones as your starting fullbacks. And yet, while Moyes gets to know the players, he sticks these guys out there in what is seen for him as a must win match. ??? And then, to top it off, he sits Kagawa at half time. Let this group develop some chemistry, no?

And ******** you, Cevno. My thread was first!

A quick word of advise to the new mods, none of you are universally liked/admired posters like DS or Achtung. Going about deleting/modifying other regulars' posts is the shortest way to ensure that you are universally disliked and are on your way out.
Using the banhammer on outside trolls will win you kudo points though.

In which case, hopefully you lot understand for the board's benefit that the best mods are the ones who let the regulars be themselves as long as they are not being racist/sexist. Calling each other names and then making up has been part of this board's MO for years and no one is exempt from that.

Agreed for the most part @cr7torossi , although targeted homophobic language is also a big part of no go zone. I'm sure you'd agree with that.
