The support is fine. We regularly get somewhere between 15k to 20k per game. Those are NBA and NHL numbers. They're high comparatively to the rest of the world as well.

People want the stadium full. Understandable. IMO Red Bull was a little ambitious with a 25k stadium and they first few years they botched the sell on it. We'll get a full house in time.

Oh, I´m sure it´s more about convenience than anything else. That said I´d like to see RBNY expand their activities in NJ because it ought to be the easiest market to crack.. Going head to head against NYCFC in NYC proper might become an uphill struggle in the long run.
Anyway, I´m convinced that this rivalry to be might provide an opportunity for both clubs marketing wise.

As evidenced by the fact that half of the regular Man City USA supporters on these boards consists of a guy from Manchester England and a guy from Naples Italy...

Well it got RB to start their first NYC subway campaign in however long, so let's hope for more of the same from both teams going forward.

Trust me, in my experience there´s a considerable spill-over effect on any marketing wherever there´s more than one local team. Which is good for both actually.

It was named MetroStars because of the former Metro Media Mogul John Kluge that owned the club. That building which still stands across Route 3 from Met Life Stadium. He got those re-run rights for shows like MASH, All In the Family, The Jefferson's and so on after they were done on CBS, NBC & ABC to Channel's 5 WNYW, 9 WWOR, 11 WPIX

He was the first owner of the club and died about a year or two ago, Born in Germany was he was a kid and lived in the NYC area for a very long time. But be warned right now, some former fans might jump on this post and claim it's false when I have the first Media Guide of Metro/RBNY.

Not enough room to be honest. The street level is higher than the Metro North Hudson Line station & that ramp from the Deegan Expressway is also in the way. There is that Manufacturing Company G.A.L. that has been there for a long time across the street from that Parking Garage and I know that the Bronx Politicians don't want that to get taken away either.

That might sound like a good idea, but it's not. Not enough room at all.

You list problems that are rather easily solved if you are willing to spend a little money. Not that Bronx is a certainty in any way..But I´d say it´s very doable

Hopefully no one ever takes @metz seriously on these boards again. A forum ban wouldn't be out of order.

Well, as Manchester United don´t really play in Manchester but in the bordering area of Trafford..They are not a legit Manchester team?

So what your saying is that they should build on the Metro North railroad that leads to the Yankee Stadium Metro North Station. Also you are saying that people should lose their jobs at a manufacturing company that has been there for a very long time.

At least when Red Bull Arena was built no one lost their job, the land was agreed upon with the owner.
Do you know the Bronx? Are you from the area?

I have read that article. That article says BRONX politicians don't want to lose the company that is on the other side of 153rd St. You're red arrow is pointing at the big Parking garage that is used for Yankees games for many seasons.

Once again I asked you the question, are you from the Bronx and right now the answer is a BIG FAT NO! Don't assume you know my Borough. Where I was born, where I have been attending Yankees games by Subway with the #4 or the (D) train, driving to the stadium, where my family has a business.

I understand that the parking garage where you are pointing at is owned by a different business man, if you continued to read the article which you failed to do, that building across the street from that parking garage is a manufacturing company called G.A.L. and has been there since the 1920's. They need to get that piece of land to make this so called stadium whole.

You knock down that parking garage, there is still not enough room to finish the job. That ramp that allows traffic southbound to Yankee Stadium is also in the way, if you were from the Bronx you would know the lay of the land and sadly you don't. You think they are going to take out apart of the park, well you are sadly mistaken because that is baseball holy land where the Original Yankee Stadium was.

So you think you know my borough better than me from where I was born? See if someone asked me about Manchester, England I wouldn't assume anything because I have never been to England. I would contact a friend who has either been there or is originally from there to help someone out with a question.

Because it's the right thing to do.
