The qualification games so far have again proven without a doubt that the Bundesliga is the best league in the world!

Sometimes, you think "Der Pokal hat seine eigenen Gesetze" also applies international pre-eliminary games.

That's the case whenever you have a knockout tournament where big teams with issues face smaller sides, the DFB Pokal only having one leg makes that even more pronounced.

No, but 25 minutes in a they aren't doing much better than mighty Augsburg. If you saw it, then please enlighten us on why they blew it!

04 left for dead -- and what a match! Makes HSV's single point a little more worthy. (And that's 1 point more than last year at this time.)

Impressive flag display of your Fankurve, Doc!

Did you attend the match? That was a great performance against Bordeaux. Just enjoy the EuroLeague after the shocking relegation from 2 years ago. Great job from Armin Veh.

Sorry but this just cannot happen. Imagine those would have been people with malicious intents. Unbelievable. Not to forget that politics has nothing to do in the stadium.

Uefa should fine the hell out of FC Basel. This is not acceptable.

Gazprom is actually a CL sponsor as well if I am not mistaken.

Don't you guys watch paytv? The Gazprom ads before the games and at half-time are everywhere. Though the commercial is quite well made to be fair.

I really hope 96 is back in the EL next season. Travelling to different countries to follow your own team is something great and special1

That's what one would like to be the case...but everything is connected, isn't it.
