Ok DI ... Pep is the second coming of Jesus... Never made, make or will make mistakes in his life... Is the best thing that ever happened to Bayern since it's foundation and will win undefeated every single title in dispute ... Oh wait, he already lost the DFB Supercup, so let me rephrase that... He will win every title in dispute with the exception of the 13/14 German Supercup... Happy ??
Its been not a good match, we encountered too much Risiko, we won tx to Arjen Robben man of the match to me, now we have 3 "english weeks" and it'll be very hard with all these guys injured, ZSKA Moskau, then Schalke04, then Hannover again, then Wolfsburg, then Man city, today I've been very pissed off about Lahm midfielder and Rafinha has been bad too, ok they'r 3 points but we cannot follow to build 20 chances and score only 2 goals, what about this guys? Anyway lets go Bayern, I bought the new shirt with Nummer 10 ROBBEN and a new flag plus the Badeshort Lederhose weared by Alaba in the Fan-Katalog.........
I'm not... Just to point out that outside than that Pep will win us everything undefeated... ... Because he's perfect...
He started to be a **** in our forum. That's all. If you can't believe it then visit the Bosnia & Herzegovina forum.
So much hyperbole. The reality is that Pep and the squad have a monumental task in terms of living up to expectations. Moreso than any other coach who has come in in the last decade. So obviously criticism of him will be plentiful and full of minutia. No coach would have come in and maintained Jupp's caliber from the get go. It took him several years to cultivate that. But the players at least look motivated by Pep and willing to adapt to his tactics. Which is really the only valid point of concern on the critics part: the interesting tactical adjustments Pep has made. But again, it is early days and improving squad versatility is not necessarily a bad thing. And as others have mentioned we are in the midst of an injury situation which makes tactical experimentation necessary.
I'm just tired... Even last season I criticized Jupp in some occasions, especially about some ridiculous subs he made ... I don't consider Heynckes a mistake free saint... But every time anyone (not necessarily me) criticize Pep, there comes the mob to defend the flawless one...
Our only bad result is a tie vs Streich led Freiburg side......away from home. We've won 4/5 games in the league and have beaten Chelsea. You guys are ridiculous, I'm out.
The thing that you don't understand is that we don't consider him a "mistake free saint" we just say : wait and see! He DOES make mistakes but he shouldn't be beheaded for them, right? It's too soon to say that he ruined bayern. Sure, I would love to win games 8:0 every matchday but you have to be rational about it. IF he messes up by the end of the season than you can say he s*cks. And even then, he wouldn't deserve it because he does his best to improve team, if it doesn't work, well that's that. Anyway, we are missing the most important part, and that is that we won, so let's stop pointing fingers for now and enjoy football.
The only thing I know is that if this freakin Spaniard lose the club world cup I'll personally fly to München and beat the living shit out of Guardiola ...
In now situation did I declare Pep to be the 2nd coming of Jesus, but contrary to your haterade that is going on I grant that what is necessary before judgement can be made and that is time. Judging by your ranting Pep must have destroyed your little sand castle at the beach when you were young
Glad we got the win after checking the scores and see Dortmund beat the shit out of Hamburg. This is going to be a hell of a marathon and the 3 points important, no matter how they come. Of course, I'm not saying we played perfect today, there are definitely areas of improvement but it is still very early in the season. If this team was near relegation with the terrible start I'd say this warrants some discussion of Pep, but so far not needed. Do NOT forget, as someone mentioned earlier, we were playing without Schweinsteiger. This used to be a recipe for disaster but no longer is that the case. Injuries play a part too, can't forget that. Moving on to the game, Hannover did an excellent job today closing up the middle and ran some nice counter with crisp passing. Their defense opened up after we got the first goal which enabled the team to create more deadly attacks. I liked the fact Mueller was moved to the right wing today while Robben got a chance inside, even though it wasn't exactly working to plan. Guardiola is still trying to accommodate his attacking players to the best of their abilities and that is a plus. On the flipside I feel Lahm is being wasted in the midfield to the detriment of himself and the team. I know injuries play a part to this but there has to be another solution. It puts pressure on our center backs to create more from the back and it isn't exactly providing solidity in the middle of the pitch. Neuer: (6.5) Solid game from our man of steel. Superb save on that breakaway, he is so quick and strong. Besides one bad kick, his distribution is great and looks to get the team out quick. He wasn't called upon too often today which is good but his presence is always felt. Alaba: (7.5) Love this kid, such a talented player. Contributed a lot offensively today and that chemistry with Ribery is spectacular. As always never forgets his defensive duties and runs his ass off. Moves into open spaces constantly to provide an outlet for his teammates. Took some shots from distance as well. Boateng: (7.5) His defensive work was excellent today. Superb interceptions and his timing on the tackles was perfect for the most part. He consistently wins those aerial duels. Definitely our best defender so far this year. That being said, many of his passes were poor and very risky. He caused a lot of turnovers and at times was too far up the pitch. Luckily his defensive contribution overcame these errors. Van Buyten: (6) This game seemed like it passed him by. Average performance and one huge mistake which almost cost the team. Passive mentality and wasn't the defensive monster that Boateng is. I hope his form from last year returns. Rafinha: (6.5) It's unfortunate he has to be compared to Lahm when he plays on the right but that is the simple truth. Defensively sound for the majority of the game and tried to help out offensively but it wasn't enough. He has some ways to go to be a bigger factor in our attacks but I will say his passing was decent and he is smarter in picking out his teammates. Hussled and pressed effectively. Lahm: (6) Very subdued in the center of the midfield . He is very smart with his positioning but was only able to execute few successful tackles. Too passive to be the sole player in the pivot, he needs to contribute more offensively as well in that position. This is something that Guardiola needs to revise, Lahm is too good as our RB to not play there. Ribery: (7.5) The whole play leading up to the second goal was beautiful. He moved around effectively today in order to open up Hannover's defense though there were fewer penetrations by him today which showed in our weak first half. The yellow wasn't necessary but it shows the passion he has on the pitch. Kroos: (7.5) Calm performance by Toni today. He supported Lahm very well in the midfield and spread the ball around effectively from side to side. Great assist by one touching it to Mandzukic when he received the pass. Hannover did play right through him on those counters which is a bit worrying. Wish he hadn't picked up that yellow either. Robben: (7.5) Could very well have received a higher rating but in the first half he was a bit quiet and in several instances he made the wrong decision and chose to be selfish instead. He played a huge part in both goals which cannot be overlooked. Loved the celebration with Ribery! The ability for him to play in the center and out wide is of huge importance for this team's creativity. Mueller: (6.5) Great job in providing width for the team while always making sure he takes advantage of the space afforded to him. Pressed efficiently throughout the game while tracking back on the right aiding Rafinha. Mueller still wasn't on par with his teammates on the offensive end which is concerning considering he played mostly on the right where his performances in the past have been better. Manzukic: (7.5) Lacking a bit on pressuring the opposing CB's like he usually does. Good finishing to put the team up and intelligently moved into areas vacated by his teammates in order to keep the shape and flow going. He provided the start to the second goal and won several headers. The service wasn't always there but that didn't stop him from working hard. Boateng got some rest and in his place Dante came in to close up shop. Shaqiri kept the aggressiveness in our attack going and Kirchoff came in late to seal the win. Rotation is key and Guardiola provided that today. It's definitely looking like the second half is when we play our best. It's always tough to judge these games after the international break with the players traveling long distances for their respective countries. Love the win and love the clean sheet!
