Quick question for those of you familiar with the stadium -- my tickets are in "NBL1GA." I don't see that on the Crew Stadium seat map. North Bleachers? Something like that? Just trying to figure out where I'm heading.
Losing track of what's out there. Looking for 1 or 2 at face value, please pm me if you have them. Preferably 2 if possible.
coming from San Antonio 93 will be a relief with all the humid 100+ temperature days we have gotten down here...
Cool. I still don't see them labeled on any seat map, so thanks for the info. Are these up on the stage area or are they down below?
Yeah I was actually thinking you meant South end, they'll probably be on the stage. Not sure how you'll enter them.
The seating chart for this game on TM is different than the standard map for Crew games. Looks like it's just section 136. EDIT: yes, it's seats added to the stage
Those would be temporary bleachers, what I don't know is where the entrance to access those are. I haven't sat in those before, so I don't know if you get to them from the walkway at the top of the stadium or from ground level.
Looking for 4 tickets at the endzone/fan section. (I think that's the south bleachers/116 area, right?)
I left about when you wrote this and there were tons of people there. The back patio probably still has room but they are not serving a full bar back there. The bar and front patio were both getting full with lots of people heading that direction.
It should be fine, I have taken the same into Crew games. I would check the US soccer site to check the rules though, sometimes they add restrictions like this.
The Crew website released info on the security for this game and they have said no cameras with a detachable lens. I have brought one to a Crew game before but this release said no so I wouldn't risk it.
I'm flying in tomorrow and I'm thinking I'm going to bring my laptop and get a bit of work done. I'm not staying overnight. Is there a lock box place where I can leave it my laptop/laptop bag? I assume the greyhound bus station has one but I called and they are closed.
Forgot to figure this out already: So how do cabs work in Columbus? Do they drive around and you flag them down outside or is the kind of place where I have to call one to my hotel to get me?
If you're staying downtown they'll be roaming around more frequently, but generally in Columbus you call for one. They don't take long to get anywhere. At the game I would expect them to be all over the place by the end.
Where's the best place to park? Last minute decision to go from Richmond, VA. Still need 2 tickets if anyone has any...
The parking lot at Crew stadium is more than adequate for any amount of cars they will get, and there are multiple overflow lots around it, don't even stress it. Just drive to the stadium and you will find a place.
