No, he's on loan at Olympiacos, but I was thinking Campbell would be that young quick player you're looking for. From what I remember, he did well at Real Betis as a fan favorite.

Why not give the 21-year old international a chance? I'm guessing Gnarby took his spot.

Ah my first ever game in attendance at the Emirates.... If I recall correctly, Almunia saved a Berbatov penalty before that towering header. It was madness in there.

Work permit issues fam. But he finally got it as i recall, so next year he should feature more. I rate him a bigger talent than Sanogo

I love how long it takes Fabregas to come up and celebrate with Bendtner, despite Bendtner running right by Fabregas to start celebrating.

Brilliant header though - gets up crazy high, and places it really well and with power.

It was a Robbie Keane penalty that was saved, to keep it 1-1. I can tell you which table I was at at The Globe for that one, with my Dad making his yearly appearance to watch a match with me. The ball was halfway to Bendy's head when I thought to myself, "goal." Glorious day at The Globe.

Just realized that Bendtner is now #23. I wonder what motivated the switch? I'm sure he didn't take a wage cut.

Arshavin is Bendtner's hero for figuring out how to collect his paycheck without having to actually play in the games.

Bendtner hasn't featured in the starting 11 for any club since a late October appearance for Juventus. He hasn't featured for his country since December, in an interational friendly against Turkey which is also the last time he's scored a goal.

The truth is no one knows how shitty Bendtner is right now, he's been an afterthought for nearly a year. Who knows how that has impacted him as a footballer? I mean, we all know how big an ego he's had over the years. Could a fall from grace at both club and country have changed him at all?? Time will tell.

Someone in that thread posted how they want to see him in an Arsenal shirt again.

I'm tempted to reply, asking if they make them that big!

I dont know if it's the angle of the camera, but his body is starting to look like Eric Cantona post-football days....

For some reason that pic reminds me of Tony Soprano wearing his bathrobe to get the paper.
