Yeah those are 100% real - enjoy them they are great boots, even if that wasn't my favourite colourway! appleCORR
dissapointing they didn't release a synthetic version of the blackout and whiteout f50's. Does somebody know why?
Probably because the leather version is more popular along with the fact that the new generation F50s are coming out later this year so they don't want to hold onto so much stock.
I picked up the red CL NC's yesterday....I am not sure on them yet, I thought I need to size up .5, but they felt loose when I struck a ball in them vs. my leather adiPowers. The 11 just felt like it wouldn't give when I tried them on....I think I might have to swap them out for the 11 or just go with the leather adiZero. I really want to give them a chance, but I have been a huge the performance of the adiZero leather in the past - despite huge durability issues.
I have spoiled myself a bit knowing that I am about to start playing again. I took a lot NC pics yesterday, I'll snap a group shot today.
The NC's could be subbed for whiteout or blackout F50's in the next 24 hours...but these are all my new boots. The black/blue adiPowers were bought slightly used and I have worn them non stop since I have been striking balls so they look a tad roughed up next to the others.
You must definitely swap those NC's for something real. The Adipower looks like a great boot but because of my narrow feet and the plastic tongue I just can't wear them. Good looking Profi Ligas there, how do they fit compared to Copas?
They are virtually identical in terms of fit. The leather is slightly thicker, but not anything that will alter the fit or feel. I have a line on some slime adiPowers for $100.00. I am going to have to bite on that as well.
I'd definitely swap out the NC's for a pair of whiteout F50's, a teammate of mine has them and they look great.
So I ditched the red NC's for the blackout adiZero....I ended up going down to an 11 in the NC and had an hour long try on session and debate between the boots in the store. The leather boot just felt better to me, no matter how hard I tired to want the NC more; I tired to talk myself into it being the new adiPower, the answer to the CTRII which I enjoyed and everything else, but it just didn't feel as good on the foot in terms of the upper. I will revisit the NC's soon - probably when my LZ I dies, which is looking likely and I can get adidas to replace them as it's been less than 2 years and with my ACL I've hardly used them - but for now, when it is new money out of my pocket, I am going leather. Sadly there were no whiteouts in the store, or I think I would have had them. The pic resized kinda odd, I'll update with better tmw or Wed.
Should have given the nitrocharges a chance. The boot fits like the adipowers but has the synthetic material of the maestri 2 on it. Requires some break in time but damn there good once there broken in
What is your opinion on the stripes that are stitched onto the forefoot? Have seen a lot of mixed opinions on them, and would like to know what you think of it.
Those white adipowers look so good! I really liked the stock pictures of the red NC and fancied picking them up but next to the adipower that stupid yellow band just annoys me. Let us know what you think of the stitched 3 stripes on the adizero, it's the only thing putting me off them.
Not the best, first day i had mine thread was coming off all over the place, the stripes round the edges aren't glued down so you can flick them up pretty poor design wise, though where they are stitched they seem pretty solid.
I ditched the NCs as well. They just felt off somehow. Hard to explain, but they werent my cup of tea. I traded them into the LZ 2's which are great. Better overall fit than the LZ 1's and less stickyness to the rubber elements. Essentially that the LZ 1 should have been. Great boot.
I had to shrink the image to fit the size required for BS, apparently I am not a great photo editor. I'll snap some better shots today when I get out my cases. Jury is out on the stripes, I have yet to use them. I plan on giving them a whirl today when coaching at the college. They didn't make the fit feel off, but I think RvP is onto something with the graphic stripes. If they suck, I am breaking out the seam ripper. Secretly that is part of the reason I was going with the blackout or whiteout model. Less visual distraction if the stripes go.
