I am pretty sure he's going to be out for both wcq games, hamstrings take more then a week to heal How cool is that thats almost their whole starting line up, we realistically only have to worry about Moreno and Torrados situation since the other players mentioned I do not see starting
I hope all their best players are there so we can own them at full strength. Fack hoping their best players are hurt or suspended. That is minnow mentality.
Seriously, plus they're gonna be crying that they were missing so and so.....fvck that noise, i want a crushing victory at their stadium with their best team. I know were gonna smash.....were way better, chepo just needed step up his game plan and play like he did against ivory coast.
This. I want a full strength squad. No excuses. You know these spazzos are relieved that we don't have Vela.
Brad Evans is out with calf injury. Jozy is supposed to be evaluated, hamstring made him miss Sunderland's match over the weekend. With Evans out Geoff Cameron or Orozco-Fiscal will likely play RB. Klinsmann might call up Parkhurst who hasn't played club ball in 7 months. Right back has been an area of concern. Cherundolo with knee surgery, Chandler not in form plus questions of his commitment.
Meh, out of all those, the only one that makes a difference in Jozy, everyone else is easily replaceable.
Lol when Mexico is doing good people predict outrages wins over the U.S. When Mexico isn't the best we can do is a draw? I'm the type that thinks the U.S. is going to come into this too cocky, because they lost respect recently for Mexico... even though they were always cocky, deep inside they always knew Mexico was better.
i don't care if we can't beat them, we need points and a tie would be great. Embarrassing to think so. Thanks Chepo
I could see the US play for a tie for the fact that they can afford to lose points. Jamaica is their penultimate game so even they have that game as a guaranteed win. I would say 16 points is the magic number for qualification.
I'm just saying we're gonna win, I am always the first to stay level headed, and not sound like a cheerleader, but this time I really have a feeling that Mexico will play it' s best game vs. them this year. I really see the nads coming in too confident. I'll admit that it seems like the best to hope for is a tie, but that's just those of us who like playing it safe. I'll go out on a limb and say it now. Mexico will win. will it be a blow out? More than likely not, but they will win. You and I know it's not in a Mexicans blood to give up, we fight hard, we work harder than any others. When we know we have to survive, we're the best at it! Apoco no?
i could see us winning just about as equal as i can see us drawing or losing this game 33.3% on all 3. I think we win vs Honduras and come into this game with some breathing space, they'll play with less pressure and the U.S could be just about qualified. Rivalry game non the less, both teams will come hard.
For me, it all comes down to the first 20 minutes. Thats when the nerves for both sides are kicking hard and going down early will mess with the mentality for us more than them since theyll have the support. 0-0 or 1-0 to the good by HT we'll win - but going down a goal by HT percentages with Chepo tactics will not be a good sign.
I think you might be confusing a couple games, because the US didn't play Guatemala in Columbus last year. The US beat Jamaica 1-0 in Columbus. Close game, but the US did hit the post 3 times. Then the US beat Guatemala 3-1 in Kansas City. Guatemala did jump to an early lead due to a blown offside trap, but the US quickly equalized and were up 3-1 at the half, dominated the game and should have scored more.
