maybe asked about your age as Bayern's dirty under the table payments were publicized throughout the 90/s and early 00's? So just gauging how much you actually lived through in terms of being awre of these things. That's not so bad. I don't know all that much about the topic, but the likes of LB and FF certainly do, and this is not about a one off regular transfer or anything. This is about Bayern systematically, over the years, screwing over league opponents to the detriment of the BL. AND the way in which they go about doing it, ie. paying Lewa and his stupid buffoon of an agent under the table.

You're wrong about something here. I didn't doubt his allegiance to his club. I only asked how long he'd been a fan. That is not doubting his allegiance.

I truly only wanted to get a better idea of who I was talking with. He took it as an insult. Sorry, but I'm not responsible for his response because he assumed I meant to be an asshole toward him when I meant nothing of the sort.

If I wanted to "doubt his allegiance to his club", I would have made this quite f#cking clear.

I meant nothing of the sort. People here need to stop being so sensitive.

If I'm already kicking his ass? Why??

There's also the hypocritical beyond belief scenario.

"We don't want the Bundesliga to become a monopoly."

But let's poach the best players of our closest competition, who finished a gulf behind us, to "improve ourselves."

    Really?

Man please. Whatever you need to tell yourself.

All I have to say is: "Wow". I had to scroll back to the top as I forgot the name of this thread. Turns out, this is the most entertaining one. Where "we" (BVB fans) collect to discuss matters pertaining to Borussia Dortmund & the footballing world at large (as well as other topics) and end up getting blindsided by ignorant, Bayern Dummköpfe.

At any rate, I am in stitches about the new season. I'm thrilled about the new signings, excited to see Mkhitaryan training again (from Facebook feeds), and love the verbiage coming from Hummels & Subotic regarding tightening up the defense & concede fewer goals. My optimism is through the roof & I really feel like BVB can really do some damage this season in all competitions. Best wishes to all my beloved BVB fans here & here's to an epic season!! If anyone has Facebook pages, I would love to follow them. Vielen Dank!

Am I wrong or Gündogan earns only 1.5m per year? 1.5m divided by 52 weeks is just approx. 29k Euro/week, equal to 25k GBP/week. His wage is way smaller than any player in EPL's top clubs. How is the difference in tax rate between UK and Germany. Could anyone show me wage of some Bayern players to compare?

What a signing Aubameyang is going to turn out to be! He's got the speed to get behind ANY team in a flat-footed Bundesliga. Dortmund has equal if not a better chance of winning the Bundesliga as Bayern.
4:1 odds of Dortmund winning the league is a steal!

Christoph Metzelder talking about Aubameyang before the game:

"For me he is a Odonkor 2.0. Fast, but not deadly enough in front of the goal.":D

I know it is always easy to laugh about comments like this, but honestly, Aubameyang was the second best goal scorer in France while playing at a small club like St. Etienne. How the hell can you compare his deadliness in front of the goal with Odonkor?

BVB are blessed when it comes to transfers for two reasons. First, you have very good scouts and a competent sporting director in Zorc, doing their business professionally. Second, you have Klopp who tends to get the best out of his players and actually improve them the longer he works with them, as he's a brilliant coach. With very few exceptions (Schieber), Klopp knows what kind of players he needs for 'his' team, his idea of football.

Klopp is one of the few managers in the game who is not just tactically astute and 'street smart', he is also great at motivating his players plus he seems to have a good eye for talent. Hence why I can see him doing well as a 'English type' manager even.

Enjoy it. It is how I watched the Augsburg match. Looks like they left last season's stuff up there too.
