Coincidentally for those who remember, Postiga used to play for Spurs around a decade ago. Cost them about £10mn after starting his career well with Porto and proceeded to score 1 goals in 24 games .

They might have had a chance if they acted early on i.e. as soon as last season ended. Once Thiago was gone, there was NEVER any chance they were going to let him go.

I dunno that we are demonstrably weaker at any position other than at the manager's position and to be fair, there was a lot wrong with Fergie's approaches.

If he wasn't interested even a little bit, he would've made a statement few weeks ago. But he was evaluating his options and trying to better his position at Barca.

at the risk of starting a whole debate of the samr thing over again, i agree with you but when i start getting nervous is when i look at the other teams and what they are doing. standing still is weakening imo.............
