Had a pretty damn good season for Zaragoza though. Him and Jonas is a solid enough strike force for a club that missed out on the CL. Plus, Canales can find the back of the net regularly if he stays fit for more than a few months at a time.
After using Uniteds interest to get some more power at Barca, Fabregas has finally made the expected "I never wanted to leave" speech. How predictable.

Who else will we try to sign and fail in doing so? There must be atleast 10 more big name players out there
Coincidentally for those who remember, Postiga used to play for Spurs around a decade ago. Cost them about £10mn after starting his career well with Porto and proceeded to score 1 goals in 24 games . He joined in summer '03, left in summer '04... and shortly after knocked England out of the '04 Euros with the final penalty kick, iirc.
Right, that's that done. Not sure if he "needed a few days to think about things" or whatever the craic was with him taking a while to say it, but either way, it's done. Now I agree, it's time to get moving quickly for our other targets.
I saw Postiga play against Bolton at White Hart Lane. His own crowd were appalling. Bunch of fat 40 year olds with no hair jeering the kid. No wonder he failed there. WHL is one of the worst crowds I have ever seen. Bunch of cants.
Finally all the cesc rumors can be put to bed and the people on this forum who kept saying "but why would United keep bidding if we were not encourage by Barca/Cesc" the man wasn't ever coming to begin with and United wasted their time...sad
Pathetic. They might have had a chance if they acted early on i.e. as soon as last season ended. Once Thiago was gone, there was NEVER any chance they were going to let him go. All I can say is pathetic. Here we are a week before the season starts and we're worse off than last year.
Nah you got Giroud, he is world class lol! Yeah tbh we should form some sort of no-transfer pact with you guys. Seems to be the way things are going
I dunno that we are demonstrably weaker at any position other than at the manager's position and to be fair, there was a lot wrong with Fergie's approaches. I'm willing to give it time. That's all I can do anyway really.
If he wasn't interested even a little bit, he would've made a statement few weeks ago. But he was evaluating his options and trying to better his position at Barca.
doesn't really matter..he was never leaving Barca and United have wasted their time and have signed NOBODY a week before the season starts, it's just pathetic
If we end up with Fellaini would the true red crowd finally realize how badly run we are or would they justify even that.
at the risk of starting a whole debate of the samr thing over again, i agree with you but when i start getting nervous is when i look at the other teams and what they are doing. standing still is weakening imo.............
