I don't mind Giggs in this role honestly. He's still one of the top 8 or so players in the league when asked to do this particular job. He's also probably our 2nd or 3rd best player in said role. You have to remember we have this game, Rio's testimonial and then the shield AND then the season right after that. 4 games in 2 weeks. There will be plenty of time for everyone. Also, Seal Team 6 will only do extractions or assassinations - I don't think negotiations with Rooney have gone that badly. Give it time.

Okay Commander but if this goes south, I am calling the SecNav myself................ seriously though, i agree with the point about Giggs. I would prefer to have seen Shinji there. it just pisses me off that Giggs is actually necessary to the team and not just being asked to do a job when required.......
I think Shinji is first choice for that role as things stand, but he can't play in every game. As I mentioned, we have 3 games this week.
i'm ok with giggs in an advanced role, i just never want to see him in midfield again. kagawa is not on the bench either.
never noticed lindegaard's english is that great - can hardly even notice any accent. I know most Nordics speak english really well but his is ridiculously good.
