I think he was suggesting that if we were to get someone who isn't a guaranteed starter on their team he'd rather get that person from the best team in Europe.

Either that or he's lost the plot. :p

I would be happy with Bale, Modric, and Fellaini/Gustavo. I think Fabio and Buttner could deputize for Evra. This window is messed up though, who knows what is likely.

Unadulterated, pasteurized, cryogenically preserved, weapons-grade bullshit.

3? Higuain is at the very least on par with Rooney in terms of form in the last several years. He's got a better chance conversion rate and his a better technical player.

    Higuain > Rooney

lol that's just crazy talk now and you're obsession for one type of footballers is ludicrous.

Rooney has consistently given better numbers than Higuain for a number of years comfortably and is far more versatile.

And how the hell is he a better technical player than Rooney ? Might have better close control, but that's pretty much it. Rooney beats him at shooting ability, and certainly passing ability.

Plus Higuain goes missing so much in crucial matches and is bit of a fair weather player like Berbatov was for us the year he was PL top scorer.

Higuain vs Chicharito would be a more interesting debate infact.

Higuain was always playing second fiddle to Benzema or whoever, and he was put up numbers as second string forward BETTER than Rooney's. In their respective position again, I would take Higuain any day of the week, he get passed players, he can finish, he has good off the ball movement, he is quicker than Rooney, better AWARENESS (probably the most important attribute) better first touch. Rooney beats him in passing ability that is about it.

This was hilarious. It is obvious you don't watch Real Madrid play or because you don't like the club you automatically devalue the players.

Rumors of the 60 mil Bale bid are obviously bullshit, but if they were true I don't see how Levy could not accept. I know he's a bit mental when it comes to transfers but he couldn't turn that much down. He would probably try to start a bidding war with Madrid however.

The other rumors are of us bidding for Modric. I could see that I guess and I be inclined to think Madrid would sell but we'll have to overpay.

    Try again.

Appereances for both strikers from 09/10 to 10/11
    Benzema (33,48,52,50) vs. Higuain (40,25*,54,44)

    *Suffered a long term injury

Err same can be said about Chicharito and you.

See his numbers whether in Club football as 2nd/3rd choice striker or International football. His in the box movement is amongst the best, if not the best in the world right now plus he gets a lot more decisive and clutch goals than Higuain.

Higuain beats him in other areas and overall play somewhat, but it's a pretty valid comparison.

I'd take Higuain over him but they are certainly both at the same level.

I've never devalued any Manchester United player and I actually watch most of your league games. You saying what you said shows you either devalue Madrid players because you don't like the club or you don't watch our matches because they aren't close.

Whats the debate here? Higuain is at least equal to Chicharito, but not as good as Wayne or RVP.

So, if someone disagrees with your bloated estimation of Real Madrid players then it's because he hates Real Madrid and doesn't watch their matches. But if you do the same with United players it is legit. hahaha I bet i've watched more Real games than you've seen United's over the last 2/3 seasons.

Anyway, why don't you give me your reasoning on what basis is Higuain way better than Hernandez ?

And why is Real Madrid even considering selling world beater Higuain when he's first choice already? Whole season long you're board has been debating who is shittier between Benzema and Higuain and which one should be sold, if not both.

Hernandez has been linked with Real like 3/4 times too over the past 3 seasons including by Marca.

Except last season, Rooney beats Higuain each year despite playing number of different positions across the front 4 unlike Higuain and putting in more defensive work when required.
