Dills point is that it's unclear (even to the media) when his contract is up

Since when has 80 been the same as 90? If you play 80 minutes, you still haven't played a full 90.

When posting on behalf of Hackworth 80 = 90.

Looks like Keon will be coming back sooner rather than later with T&T coming off the rails last night

The game was closer than expected (at first), not the best time to insert a brand new player.

With Wondo doing what he's doing (I realize who he's doing it against), I don't see Jack getting much if any time in this tournament. Maybe next game, but doubtful in the knockout rounds.

Well the US already clinched a birth into the knockout round, so here's his chance next game.

Doubtful. Costa Rica isn't a good spot for Jack to see his first minutes. If he ever gets any minutes, it'll be in the quarterfinals against Trinidad or El Salvador.

They might need him for his experience with Costa Rican fisticuffs.

I doubt he'll see a single minute. The only thing the Gold Cup call up has done is take him out of contention for the Golden Boot.

I agree. USA and Costa Rica both want to win the group, so it's just not an ideal time for Jack to hit the field.

I think Cuba would have been his debut if the USMNT hadn't had a terrible first half that Klinsmann needed to rectify. Hopefully on Tuesday we'll have a multi-goal lead heading into the last 15 minutes, because then it wouldn't be a problem to throw him in.

Gomez, Shea, & Corona = another night without Jack getting capped. Although I was 100% certain he wouldn't get in tonight, so this one's not as irritating.

Looking at the 35 roster pool, I dont see anyone this team REALLY needs to switch in and out. I would do Eddie Johnson for Jack Mac, Zusi for Shea (From my understanding he wasn't supposed to be playing in the Gold Cup due to Stoke preseason anyway), and Gonzalez/Beasler for Onyewu

Do we know anything about how Jack fared during the practices (i.e. mentions from Jurgen or the other players)? I'm just hoping that if he does get sent back that it's not because he wasn't doing well during training.
