Two words sum up yesterdays performance, PATHETIC and DISGUSTING.

An island of 400,000 population and no professional teams outplays, outshoots, and out hustles a country with 35 million.

As for TFC players, Henry was good but the end of the game was typical TFC. Great goal in overtime ended our hopes in the competition.

Please use the Canada forum to discuss the national team.

This thread will remain open so that TFC players on the CMNT can be discussed.

Still wondering why Jonathan Osorio wasn't given a chance to play. He has done enough at the club level to warrant decent playing time. Makes you wonder what Colin Miller was thinking during the game. It ticks me off more b/c he takes 4 players from TFC and only plays one of them. Hopefully Osorio gets more playing time the next two games.

Osorio did get to play. He played a beautiful through ball up the middle but the forwards were having a nap and hadn''t a clue what was happening.

Typical CSA. They stubbornly piss off the only professional team that actually cares about Canadian players by not letting our players come a day later, and then don't even play them. Why play a 4-4-2 with Ricketts (who's shit) and two DMs (including JDG, who's also shit now) while leaving a bunch of promising AMs on the bench? Where was Osorio, Aleman, or even Bekker (in a central position)? They're the players who are going to be key in the future, not de Guzman or Ricketts. Edwini Bonsu would have brought more as well.

I know he played. I don't consider 4+ minutes siginificant. (Mind you, I didn't watch the game...just going off the stats report). What I meant was he should be getting significant minutes.

I definitely agree that Osorio should have gotten the start over Tosaint Ricketts. Ricketts hasn't done enough at the national level to warrant regular minutes, yet he's a regular starter.

Bekker and Osorio starting this one. Bekker in the middle, if MLSsoccer is to be believed and Oso on the right wing. Also Henry starting again
