Wow. After all this time, RSL finally gets a league goal at BMO. 1-0 RSL. It was bound to happen. And that's how it is at halftime.
My God, you're right, Bekker isn't even on the bench. A Bekker vs Beckerman showdown was what I was most looking forward to when he got drafted Oh, and RSL score. This is bad
TFC did create great chances before the RSL goal though. Plus, there were at least two TFC's PK situations denied by the ref. Koev, unless he got injured or a second yellow, should at least earn one hockey point (a goal or an assist) today.
Laba needs to step up his game defensively today. Marking attacking mids out of the game is supposed to be his area of expertise, and he didn't really do that to Morales in the first half.
Tfc had the better of the chances in the first half. Unlucky to have given up a goal at the end there
A team with Aaron Maund and Lovel Palmer playing in the back for 90 minutes has picked up a clean sheet. Pathetic
Brockie is so damn unlucky today. A lot of good chances, PK chances, and those last seconds attempts...... *Feel Bad Man*
Considering rsl has been the hottest team in mls since may, this is not a bad result. Still, though, would have liked to have seen some of those chances go in
I feel gutted for TFC...should have picked up a point in this one given the opportunities they had. Moving on the matter at hand...one of the coaches needs to have a talk with Henry and get him in check. This is his second red of the season, and if I'm not mistaken, he just had one recently. He's continuously putting himself in unnecessary situations and letting the team down. I know it's an age thing, but he can't keep doing this. If he doesn't knock over Beltran, TFC would have been up a man the remainder of the game. (Although, from an emotional standpoint, I do have to give him props for sticking up for his teammate). Then there was the mix-up I believe against Houston, where he unnecessarily gets into a shoving match with the goalkeeper and drew a yellow card (and later picked up a red).
In the "Are you freaking kidding me?" department, the announced crowd at the match was 20,841. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. It looked like BMO was half-full at best.
MLS doesn't count international duty as a game so he'll miss the next game, whenever the CanMNT flames out.
