Then he still insists on playing with the vets FFS. He still has the formation problem. His subs still suck as do the call up choices. He defends stupid decisions he makes and doesnt admit problems/doesnt see them. Now that he has scored he probably thinks he figured it out. I knew we were going to have a problem with our back line getting beat, but now that has the proper guys back there its a lot more solid. Unless he goes back with Salicido and Maza cause you know they get better with age(sarcasm). We still have the problem with the midfield, but having a solid defense clearly helps. Hopefully that doesn't cloud the clear problem. If anything this brings us back to a problem we were having a year ago. we cant convert, we cant finish, we cant score. Our attack is still getting stifled and are not creative enough. We lack plans and team work. I think this leads to one of the biggest problems, at least IMO, we are too reliant on Cheech and Gio, and Cheech being a good poucher is not a striker. We need a different formations or plans of attack. We cannot be so dependent on him to be our only scorer, but this is clearly Chepos favorite idea/only plan. With all that said and as much as I would like the old chepo to come back, I think all the negative things out weigh anything positive he can and probably wont do. I am sure he will revert to his old ways again and the team will regress. This is a team with talented players and to blow it because of one mans incompetence will truly be a shame on FMF.

Victor Manuel Vucetich of Rayados of Monterry? I think he uses a formation that is similar to Liverpools. 4 - 3 - 3 where the 3 - 3 is in a slanted formation:

Geez guys, I'm not saying he should become a staple of the team, just saying I don't mind sticking him in there in a partido molero to see what he does. We don't have many players in Mexico that play like him. Could be an interesting option. Believe me though, I understand the concern with the bs we've put up with in the past and now with Chepo.
Nah. Giving someone like Chaco a chance for even a partido molero is a waste. The idea is to use those games to see which young guys are capable of playing in matches that matter. So in the next months we need to use friendlies to evaluate what players should go to Brazil 2014..... Chaco is not a player that we want to take to Brazil.
