Let's hope that van Bommel retires before further embarrassing himself.

PSV I think will get approximately 35M for Lens-Mertens-Strootman.
If they invest it well they can build a good team.
The defense needs sorting. They are close to clinching Bruma for 3M. I think they must go for another CB. Viergever or even put in a 5-6M for BMI.
    Maher @ 9M & Van Ginkel @ 9M. Sell Wijnaldum for 5M & buy Vilhena for 7M.
Imagine so many Young NT Players playing together and developing chemistry.
    Depay Locadia Narsingh
    Vilhena/Wijnaldum Maher Van Ginkel
    Willems BMI/Viergever Bruma RB

Isn't Van Ginkel going to Chelsea?

2 CBs and a 1 RB should be the primary transfers for PSV imo. Perhaps Twente is willing to sell Douglas for a decent price, and I'd rather sell Toivonen and move Wijnaldum to the RW (assuming he plays as CAM)

    What happens to Narsingh.

As far as I know Hutch is doing a good job. Lets hope PSV has a good young LB coming through as Willems has no defensive sense at all

Don't know, but Wijnaldum is a very good footballer on the wings.

And I guess PSV will sign at least 2-3 defenders since the defense desperately needs an upgrade. Waterman isn't very convincing so a new goalie would also be a great transfer, I find Tyton good enough though. I thought Hutchinson wants to leave this summer ?

Douglas is a free agent. He's not even under contract at Twente. The likelihood of him staying in the NL is next to zero percent.

    Lol.

So Twente will be getting 0,00 euros from Douglas' transfer?

Deliberately so. We could've sold him a couple of times, he wanted to stay, the club wanted him to stay, he didn't want to extend because he wanted rid of his managers who as long as he was under contract would have gotten a big percentage of his transfer money. Now he's a properly free agent and the club doesn't begrudge him that. It's ironic that you think this is funny - in my opinion this is how it's supposed to go when a club respects a player that's meant a lot to them and vice versa.

There were a few similar cases in the Eredivisie this season. Players like Sulejmani and Leerdam refused to do what the club wanted them to do, and eventually became a regular benchwarmer. Douglas however was allowed to play many matches this season, despite all of this, which is a reason why he should be very thankful to Twente. The amount of spoiled, unthankful footballers in the Dutch league is laughable these days...

Douglas was benched in the playoffs as the management knew he was going to leave. Still the argument remained the same. Twente didn't begrudge him moving on, god knows that during his six year stay at Twente he could've forced a move to a bigger paying club several times.

He's virtually been confirmed at Newcastle but as they have management trouble that's not certain now.

PSV in the Trafer Season so far -

Mertens + Lens + Pieters - Out for Approx 19.5M
Maher + Bruma - In for Approx 11-12M

So Net Profit is So far 7-8M. Plus if Toivonen is sold for 5-6M, then it goes up to 12-14M.

    PSV Can Afford -

    Van Ginkel - 9M
    Viergever/BMI - 5M

Still Wijnaldum/Hutch/Marcelo/Manolev can be sold for 2-3M each atleast.

PSV Should seriously go for 2 Real Quality Young Dutch players like BMI, MVG

    Imagine -
    Depay Locadia Narsingh
    MVG Strootman Maher
    Willems BMI Bruma New RB

lol this isn't manager mode. Hutch is leaving on a Bosman, and no one is going to pay money for Wijnaldum, Marcelo or Manolev.

I imagine they'll also be selling Strootman.
And if that's they're lineup next season, they're going to have no depth at all.

PSV has been known to enter Manager Mode in the past. Very few of their projected starters have been with the club more than 2-3 years. But yeah the projected lineup above is a little bit bold.

When it comes to buying, perhaps. But just because a player has a Transfermarkt value of 2m or so, doesn't mean anyone is going to be willing to pay that. I can't imagine any team that would actually want Wijnaldum, Marcello or Manolev would even have that kind of money.

It's like if you have say a bunch of big screen CRT TVs. They might be worth some $20-40, but it's more likely that you would have to give them away or even pay someone if you wanted to get rid of them

Sure yeah we are on the same page. I just meant with buying. Selling players is a different ballgame. Players seem perfectly happy to ride out their contracts and leave on a free transfer these days.

Van Ginkel, Strootman, and Maher play in the same team week in and week out under the direction of perhaps the most versatile Dutch midfielder of all times Phillip Cocu... WOW! That's the scenario I would love to see!! The trio would develop a solid understanding and be nice a building block for future Oranje. And especially if you threw Depay into the equation. Sold! Make it happen... :D

It'd be interesting if PSV is in the market for Van der Hoorn. I think his physical build-up and strength would be a nice complement to Bruma (who seems to be light weight/soft at times) in central defense.

Ajax are still talking with Utrecht about Van der Hoorn and I believe he will come into the squad if Alderwiereld leaves.

Good news. Not a bad choice at all for him to further develop!
