Crew announcers have been talking all game about the great chemistry between Magee and Rolfe, and just praised the chemistry between Duka and Magee and Duka and Rolfe. I'm fairly confident that that they must not have watched a single Fire game
Magee and Rolfe has had great chemistry. Rolfe has completely gotten out of Magee's way and let Magee play for both of them.
That was by a long shot the best game of the season for Fire. They are now only 2 points behind the pack in the East, with a game in hand. They still have a long way to go, though.
I thought the Colorado game was much better. More created, and a lot less panic at the back. On the other hand, Columbus is a much better attack, so...
I know next to nothing about professional sports locker rooms, but a win like that has to build morale/confidence.
Great win. Magee was great. Sean Johnson was great. Duka was very good. Lindpere was very good. Berry came back to play well in the second half. Soumare played well in the second half. Nyarko came on to play well. Segares played well. Paladini was not bad. Anibaba was not bad. Larentowicz was good. Santos did not do much, but did not do badly. Rolfe was absent, again. Pause was hurt, again.
One of the best games I've seen this season. Duka & Lindpere were great. Magee was fantastic as always too. Wish I was with Section8 East hitting the C-bus bars now. Fond memories of many post-game shenanigans in C-Bus.
Unbelievable. Before Magee I could count on one hand the times the fire once down came back to win a game. We have a chance to not only win the open cup but to get in the playoffs and win the MLS cup, if we keep up the confidence and never say die attitude.
GG I'm cool with Rolfe sitting Wednesday. Duka pretty much grabbed his spot in the S11 here and someone finally ticked Lindpere's crossing to back post. Give Sega a break Wed too.
Best team performance of the season. Good gravy, we actually looked like a real soccer team - you know, the kind that practices between games - out there tonight! We even defeated the homer referee.
