That's the problem. longball doesn't work well with a lone striker. And KSW can't really play on the ground all that well.

KSW ground game is pretty underrated. also even if KSW plays i dont see us playing lots of direct long balls. but we would do lots of crossing especially the outside backs. but again i dont see him starting.

KYK hadn't played CB at NT level for us much recently period (Cho Kwang Rae was really stubborn about using him only at LB...), so I'm pretty sure they've never played as a CB pair in an actual match before. Even Jang HS and KYK would probably know each other better from the Olympic team days as Jang HS was originally supposed to be paired with Kim YK before he got injured and got replaced by Hwang SH.

So do we believe we're putting JDW up top and SHM on the left?

lol all i hear is the record number of WC we qualified. And the olympic success we had. while certain someone watched it at home. Its just extreme desperation. plus they forgot we beat them
5-0 at one point. they are just lucky that we dont have a full healthy squad. and our future even looks better cause of our influx of youth players playing in europe

If we're going with a lone striker i'd rather have JDW or ldg

For his sake now, I hope LDG just makes a guest appearance on his way to his centennial and retirement from the KNT. Though with PJY situation being what it is...I hope we're not short on strikers come 2014.

If CKH actually does want to win surely he must know implementing LDG in any shape or form reduces his chances significantly.

if pjy can get up to speed this season, then we are three deep in quality up top. that would be a good thing ... but if only the back 4 gets some footing

I've read that we have a very real possibility to play in the rain tomorrow. That means we're going to see Choi Kang-hee's 뻥축구 once again. I was thinking about going from Seoul to Ulsan, but I just put it away because I'm afraid of getting stressed out and wasting my time and money.

I've been off from BigSoccer for a long time. This match has brought me here since 2007.

You know what's even funnier? The fact that you guys have 7 strikers ahead of ours (according to you of course) and you're still having to battle it out on the last possible day to qualify for the WC.

    2-1 Iran
