You can't say he couldn't do it, because we haven't seen him play in confederations. Concacaf is a whole different deal, so you can't judge with that play. This is where you judge players, because our goal is the mundial, with these types of teams.

Apparently our level of play is pretty much the same, whether in Concacaf or in Confeds. This isn't your typical Mexico team that turns it on vs higher competition. Would Herrera have significantly changed things today? No. You can plug in all the players you want into this formation and it won't work. The system is flawed and Chepo isn't changing it.
Herrera was shit on Tuesday. I still would of played him today though. Its obvious some guys are exempt from being benched if Herrera gets benched the first chance he gets while guys can have consecutively shit games and be automatic.
