We might be full at forward, but not okay. All it means is you trade away Lenhart and/or Gordon for for a creative player.

Most of those players make more than most MLS DP's. I doubt they will come here although it would be a refreshing change.

They will play CM or DM in Yallop's system and it doesn't matter because they will see the ball flying over their heads any way.

Anyone who knows anything about the game, ONE DP will not change a thing! You need 4 or 5 players to get things started. A Leo Messi alone with this bunch won't change much.

Jerry Bengston might be available soon... not sure I would want him.

sounds like we may be in the market for another center back as Attakora is concussed for who knows how long, Harden is out 3-5 months, and Muller has had recurring back problems (first ive heard of this, i was wondering where hes been now i know)

but who is out there we would want at that position??

As someone who is currently suffering from a recurring back problem, man that sucks...

He certainly would give us an up the gut, through the middle dynamic that we've been missing since Dawkins was not retained.

I actually also like the idea of getting a rock solid center back to help shore up the D. I think the consistent problem over last two seasons is letting in goals.

i like the idea of getting Burling for a supplimental from Chivas USA if theyll play ball, for a fill-in you could do worse. If we are after a central defender for emergencies, and we seem to be, it sa reasonable move. Not a starter by any means, but he is useful as depth. Theres not much of Chivas USA's ethnic cleansing campaign we can take advantage of besides burling and kennedy right now.

Beasley transfer listed. In MLS with him and Chavez on each side? Why not? Toss away Hernandez and a Bash Bro for the salary.

Get Beasley, put him at left back. Move morrow to center. Defense solved.

I'd prefer RunDMB at left mid and Shea shipped off as part of the deal

I think it's 4 years, and he's been gone longer than that. So he'd need to go through the allocation process.

I liked Cronin a lot at t the start but I think he has dropped off considerably the last few games. It seems teams are bursting up the middle either through him or Jahn when he was in the midfield and exploiting their defensive weaknesses. Not sure who can play the central midfield spot but am sure these guys can't get the job done. Wonder who is available in the USL or NASL? Would those teams/leagues be willing to sell their players? Why wouldn't they sell for cash? I know I would if I were in their (2nd & 3rd tier) position.

Sams looking bad because he doesn't have his partner in there with him, you know, Baca. Martinez may play better than baca in some aspects but the chemistry the baca-Cronin partnership have is important to our succes. Bad thing is baca looked injured 2 games ago, but he did sub in vs RSL. Was it a forced sub? Idk.
Also Cronin coming off is a bad sign.

Baca did pick up a knock a few games ago and was subbed out due to that (no matter what QuietType believes), and Cronin did apparently come off with a knock against RSL. But I agree, Cronin / Baca is a reasonably good partnership and IMO Frank should not mess with it. Jahn / Cronin is a horrendously slow central midfield (and yes, blurryblue, we get it, it was more of a diamond with Jahn in there, but a horrendously slow center part of the diamond nonetheless).
