Haha I did wear some chrome/limes after I had some issues with my 98's in the warm up. I didn't wear a new pair you'll be glad to know. Without sounding like a kn0b I've got 7 pairs altogether now, 4 used, 3 new. If you want a pair PM me mate :)

7509_10151975260729676_1474693458_n.jpg I know everyone knows what they look like. But I just thought id post a picture of my LZ2 on my feet. I have quite wide feet and just thought you guys might like to see how the upper has given and allowed a bit of stretch.

I think i actually make the turf look quite good in that picture .....

The stuff they use for the upper is brilliant - it really does feel like you are wearing a leather boot and not synthetic. I've worn them for a few weeks now so they are pretty much moulded to my feet and i like how they feel.

All the zones feel pretty much the same, the one on the front of the boot does have a bit more grip to it than the orignal LZs. You can feel it spinning the ball when you juggle more than normal. The one pad i have found brilliant is the new pad on the inside of the boot where there was just a 'pad' on the LZ1 its great for curling the ball along with the one on the inside of the toe area.

Other than the insole disaster i can't fault these boots and i think anyone who is put off from getting them because they are a step away from the adipower (although people need to remember the adipower was a massive step from the manias for original predator fans) are really missing out on an outstanding boot! :)

So i shall continute to rip up the turf at goals in these bad boys! (might put my SG ones on to annoy people even more!)

What size are those if you don't mind me asking? They look really small from the picture.

Hahaha, i have tiny feet - they are UK6 but i find that these boots do run a little bit smaller than the originals. They feel fine now they have given a little bit but some people may want to go up half a size.

Wow they feel good on turf too? Been looking for a good wide boot to get, Nike is annoying me with there durability and how narrow all of there boots are heh

They feel fine to me on turf - but i've been wearing FG boots on turf for a long time now. I wore the LZs before these and whether ive been lucky or not, ive never had any sort of injury from twisting or turning on the turf. You won't be disappointed as you can see from the picture once they mould to your foot they are a perfect fit even for wider feet.

Ahh ok might give them a try. I swear though, when adidas comes out with AG shoes as easily to find as Nike has them, I will make the permanent switch heh

Oops, I probably shouldn't be talking. I am only UK6.5 in Adidas (Nike UK sizing is different ). I think I'll pick up another pair of the LZ1s in my size this time (my black/lime ones are too big, I used to like more room in the toe for some reason) seeing as the prices have fallen a lot (poor college student here - can't afford new releases ).

As for wide fitting shoes, Nike Tiempo, CTR360, and T90 are all pretty wide. They are wide enough for me at least and I have wide and flat feet. Adidas LZs are good, I heard NCs are good too, and leather F50s are alright (I don't like the leather and design though). The SprintFrame/Traxion can be used on AG though the studs are slightly long. The Timepo FG can defo be used on AG (I really like my Legends). You can get away with the current generation CTR stud pattern on AG (but I find the studs are too sharp and dig in too much). T90 is a big no-no on AG IMHO.

If you are going to wear them on the turf the one thing i will say is you need to get yourself some decent insoles for extra cushion. I'm currently wearing the ones from the LZ1 in mine because its so much better.

I've tried Adidas AG configeration on turf and its alright - I've just never had a problem with FG. You might find a AG option on miadidas? I know they had it with the adizeros but i haven't looked at the LZs yet so im not sure, but you'll probably be paying twice as much for the pleasure.

The LZ1 have come down in price but i dont think they've come down that much, I've just had a look and you can get the LZ2 for £115 from sports direct. The LZ1s are still around £80 depending on the colourway you are looking at.

Whenever I order from abroad, I usually get hit with customs and duties charges. So with new releases, I tend to buy from Canadian retailers. On Adidas.ca, I would be paying ~160 pounds ($250 Canadian) after discounts and taxes.

You could on the previous model - I've just looked and they have replaced the AG option with a HG stud configuration so that might work for you too, but the boots start at £175 and thats not even including the postage.

Please tell your queen to recolonize Canada so maybe we can trade beaver belts for Adidas boots? :D

Which one would you say offers more grip on the ball when taking FKs?
Also, I don't like the LZ2 colorways anymore after seeing this:

MiAdidas in the US offers the Nitrocharge in HG, but none of the other models.

Problem with HG on NC is that they remove the physical external heel counter. They attach two pieces of plastic to make it look like its there - extremely cheap (looks like takedown IMO)

For me the 2s have a better grip with freekicks you can really get some spin on them, i think its because they cover more of the upper than the lines do on the LZ1. Like ive said the 2 is a better boot all around.

I don't blame you that colourway was awsome and hopefully you can pick it up fairly cheap now. I have to say im looking forward to the September release of the red/white and the blue/red LZ2. The colourways inbetween are a bit meh.

I think the "white/hi-res orange/black" colorway is coming out this month (according to FootyHeadline's boot calendar). It's doesn't look bad. The "pride blue/orange/white" looks better, but I may be having surgery for a dislocated tendon sometime this fall so I wouldn't be able to wear them for long since they are coming out in September. :( I wanna buy a pair or two now while I still can.
