Need a better outing than vs. Columbus.

No Espy, Miller, and Cahill right?

Why no Espindola? He played last night.

Ah. I'm just glad it wasn't worse. When I saw it happen, my first thought was ruptured Achilles tendon. Anytime you have an opponent basically lock your foot down like that from behind, you're probably going to get some kind of an injury.

Highly doubt it, its not even clear that an elbow was his intention and it certainly isn't what caused the blood on George. Discipline Committee probably would have released that news today if he was banned.

That's the lineup I see us going with. I think Alexander starts and Sam will come off the bench based on the fact that Sam played most of the Open Cup game.

I think we will be cautious with Espindola. Hopefully the ankle isn't too bad and he can potentially come off the bench if need be. Also Akpan will be available as a forward option.

Vancouver is coming off a devastating result in the Canadian Cup in a midweek game. Followed by a really long flight to NY there are bound to be some tired legs. This is a great opportunity for us to get a win at home.

Haven't been too impressed with Alexander. Maybe give Sam a shot at starting, or at the very least have him subbed in early in the 2nd half. I'd like to see Meara start, but given Robles' recent performance, I'm not sure if we should risk it. Maybe see how Meara does against NE and ease him back into it. Give Espindola a break. We don't need another string of injuries like last year.

Nervous about starting Peggy just off injury and having played 45 mins a few days ago. I love his game (minus the shooting accuracy) but see him as a super-sub. Then again, if Espindola isn't ready, there's not much choice other than one of the youngsters. Just hope he has at least 65 mins in him.

(How) did McCarty play on Wednesday? Are we confident about his abilities today? He seemed flat last weekend. We definitely need him to be strong today with Vancouver's speed, Juninho's lack thereof and Cahill's toughness absent.

I thought he looked good on Wednesday, added a needed spark to the team as well. I am not worried about him to be frank, I am concerned about what we will do up top.

Rusty for the first few minutes, just like he was when he came on as a sub against LA a few weeks back, but very solid once he settled in. I'm sure he'll start today alongside Juninho.

I thought I'd drop in to say I purchased Emmanuel Emineke as my striker in my Redbulls Career Mode on fifa13.

This is probably the best flowing soccer the Red Bulls have played all season. Pass, pass, pass!

Now, can we just turn that into chances and those chances into goals. A little to many floaters to the box for my liking.

    Edit: My grammer have off.

Disappointing first half, this is the kind of game we should be 3-0 up after the first half, instead lack of finishing skills and sharpness in the final third and in the box

This was poor... really, really poor. Only the Red Bulls can play its best soccer in the midfield and still come out as losers.

I have been saying this since last month and I will say this again. We need a winger. Forget Kaka, forget Abidal. We need a winger who is not afraid to beat a man and who can provide a slick cross into the box.

I do not care if it is Yossi or anyone else, I want a bloody winger!

Should have seen these results coming. Big long break coming up and everyone goes on vacation. Hopefully this means a good open cup outing to get this taste out of their mouths.
