Until we sign Neymar and Messi Henry will always not be "worth it".

obviously not, he glares at his teammates, duh. Who cares if he is the best player in the league and hardly hurts our cap

metz I really would like to hear your opinion on Robbie Keane's contributions for the Galaxy. He makes 40x what his teammates make, has the same amount of goals as Henry this season, is 33 years old. Do you think LA should get rid of him too?

And wait, now all of the sudden goal production alone matters if Agudelo has more than Cahill? So why doesn't it matter that only one player in MLS has scored more goals than Henry since 2010?

I will repeat again and again, the Beckham, Keane and Henry case is different than Cahill and many other old retired players that have been here, and I will not go against them at all, Henry give to the team something that no body else can, name, international reconocimiento even if he doesn't give us a championship...
Cahill doesn't give that to the team and if he is here is only for his production that in two years and 1/2 no body have seeing yet and the odds to be seeing are more and more scarce because he is becoming older and older...

Now, about Henry and any other DP what I say is, that so far all of them have come to make more damage than good, the players I'm sure have that Millions $$$$$ signs in they head and every day or night they must ask them self, WHY????, because they don't make so big of impact, the games of this players, starting with Henry are not steady, they have one good game and two horrorous games and in reality they don't deserve that kind of money and the players don't let that go away like that and that bring a bunch of problems and the locals players must feel discriminated for that and I can't blame then for that......

Is true, the salary of Henry and Cahill don't affect the CAP, but they are affecting the head of the other players... believe me....

But Metz, Cahill and Henry have been for the past month or so the two best Red Bull players if not 2 of the best in MLS right now, so i could care less how the other players feel. Tell them to work someplace else if they don't like it. It's a free country.

Oh!!!! the old American or Gringo go home or something like that...... That wasn't come to my mind....
Cahill and Henry the best of what, selling RB cans of what....because as footballers they don't..... and that is my argument.... Both of them are here because they goals production and they came for that and to do that, to score goals, and Henry in three years never has even close to be the best and Cahill... Cahill who?.....

I've already told you this and you refuse to listen, since the start 0f 2011 only one single player has scored more goals than Henry and at a better rate per game, and that's Chris Wondolowski. Stop saying that he isn't scoring enough goals, its 100% wrong.

Cahill has single handedly won several games for us this year, I'm not sure why that doesn't mean anything to you.

Metz, I really don't see how you are against these guys after all people have given their side for Henry and others in the past. It's like you are so against Henry and now Cahill that you can't see the forrest because the trees are in the way. Really, who is better than Henry in the MLS at this time? Forget about how much they make as it is not relavent in this discussion.

Henry is one of if not THE best players in MLS. Was last year too. I don't see how anyone could leave him out of their top 5.

And while it's only now that Cahill is starting to show up in the stats his quality/effort/leadership has been top class.

I'm beginning to think metz wants at least one goal for every $100,000 a player makes.

He's not dumb, just stubborn and idealistic. Getting metz to admit he's being irrational is like the holy grail of internet debate

What I look for is the results of the team and Henry hasn't bring nothing new, he came here with the aura of big things to come and we have not seeing nothing yet and three years older than his arrive I thing we will not ever see it... When they announced his signing all of you were saying that he will destroy all the defense lines of all the MLS team and he will brake all the records with 30 or more goals for season, well, that hasn't materialized and never will, now that the man look tiered and finite...

Cahill what?... three week ago he was considered the black sheep of the club for the majority of the RB fans and they was asking for his dismiss and now because he make three goals at 1 Million a piece you say he is the mother of all the players... come on.....

I didn't read anything passed this because it's so ridiculous. Henry helped bring a seven game unbeaten streak for the first time since '03. While it isn't a Cup, it is most certainly an excellent step towards one. Rome wasn't built in a day, metz. These things take time.

Metz, results of team say we are in first place and winning regularly. Henry and cahill have contributed mightely to our success and playing as 2 of best in MLS right now as individual players so i also think you are being stubborn here. Enjoy our success and these 2 players while you can. yeah , i know henry can come across as an arrogant selfish pr*ck at times by his actions on field and l;ack of celebrations after goals, but he is "our" pr*ck and we should enjoy him being here rather than in LA or some other place to haunt us. simply put, Henry is best player MLS has ever had top this date. forget age and forget salary, look at results.....

There's also 3 straight playoff appearances. Metz you've been watching this sport longer than all of us, you know that one player alone doesn't win a championship. You can't hold Henry to those standards, he's doing his part and more.
