That's just the story they made up to try and make everyone forget that the city began as a (Fiorentina) Etruscan town. All Romans carry our seed.

No one thinks that he could/should have topped what Mourinho did. I mean, duh.

Some of us think he should have been at least a bit competitive with a squad a couple months removed from the treble. Especially considering he had, by a wide margin, the most talented squad in the league.

Nobody wanted to play for Rafa at Inter, tough to take over a team with that...

obviously it was a blunder, but his resumé makes me want to give him a fair chance

    interesting stats on Serie A

    Winners:

    Juve 31
    Milan 18
    Inter 18
Genoa 9 (all in 1920s and before)
    Torino 7 (in 1920s and 1940s)
Pro Vercelli 7 (all in early 1900s)

    Roma 3
Lazio, Fiorentina and Napoli ONLY 2 TITLES!
    Samdoria (only 1 in 1990)

makes u wonder how come these other teams aside the big 3 havent been able to win titles ??

and notice....ever since they started doing the World players of the year...look how many Serie A players have won it

FIFA World Players of the Year [edit]

all the other years in between the winners were from la liga; like ronaldo from real, messi from barca, etc...

Benitez isnt a good fit for Napoli. His mistake with inter he tried to change a successful team to his liking.
He moved the inter defence further up the pitch, relying on high defensive line and he changed inter counter attacking game into a possession game. The difference would be note between Mourinho team and Benitez team, Mourinho team scored alot of goals on counter attack game.In fact most important goals for inter were scored in counter attack during the treble year. The next year inter scored less, and specifically in the counter attack game. Thanks to one man Benitez.

Napoli finished 2nd, good for you.And you did some nice results last few years. But its mainly by relying on underdog tactics to do it, if you will switch your game like Inter did.I will not be surprised if this journey with Benitez ends in catastophie.

Absolutely. Unless, of course, you have watched the league at all over the last 30-40 years. Then you know exactly "how come."
