I'd go even further. Watzke is beyond pissed or at least he will be, he looks frighteningly resigned and hurt at the moment. Obviously as time passes by he'll deal with the disappointment.

I'm sure his first course of action will be to battle incoming transfer offers for all players bar Lewandowski and the Pole will need an unbelievable offer beyond € 30m, too.

The chances that Watzke will let Hummels go, the man who is equally popular as Götze (was) is basically ZERO. He'd rather shoot himself instead of letting that happen.

I think Hummels and Subotic are the heart and soul of their team. Gotze was close, but those two guys really have a massive presence over the squad.

If he doesn't have an exit clause, there is no way that Dortmund is letting Hummels come here this summer.

Dante, Boateng, Badstuber, and Kirchhoff all there for next season along with the rumours of a van Buyten extension. I wouldn't read too much into these rumours about Hummels, it won't happen.

Hummels had his chance to go back to Bayern. It won´t come again! ( Probably...;) )

Apparently Jupp Heynckes' agent has claimed that Lewandowski to Bayern was already a done deal before the Gotze thing happened.

Don't really see a need for both of them personally, but I'm certainly not going to complain.

lol that isn't such a bad problem to have.

Gotze, and possibly Lewy and Mats too? Are we going to be Bayussia Munchmund next season? Sorry, that was bad, I know. I apologize, I'll see myself out now.

Gotze is going to take alot of heat. Best that Bayern welcome him very warmly to counter-act all the negativity he will experience.

Quick show of hands, who still thinks Lewandowski is a fluke?

Klopp has built a team that doesn't rely on individual ability. I have no doubt that if he remains, BVB will fully recover from the losses of Gotze, Lewy, or even Hummels, just like they did with Sahin and Kagawa.

I really hope we don't poach Lewy too though.

We don't need Lewy or Gomez IMO.

But damn Lewandowski is one hell of a talent.

I agree. IMO as long as they keep Reus and Gundogan they can survive any losses.

I am honestly hoping that Muller is moved to striker and Gomez is sold to somewhere he can start every match.

I'd like to keep Robben until the end of his contract (2015).

Once Ribery starts to decline Shaqiri should be ready to take over for him.

    2013/14-

    Ribery----Muller/Mandzukic----Gotze
    ---------Schweini-----Kroos
    ----------------Martinez
    Alaba-----Dante----Bads/Boa----Lahm
    ------------------Neuer

    Transactions -

    IN:
    Gotze - 37m
    Kirchoff - Free
    Can - Promoted
    Hojbjerg - Promoted

    OUT:
    Gomez - 25m
    Petersen - 5m
    van Buyten - Free
    Tymoshchuk - Free

    TOTAL: (-7m)

    EXTEND:
Kroos (expires 2015, extend until 2018)
Alaba (expires 2015, extend until 2018)
Pizarro (expires 2013, extend until 2014)

Yeah, I've wanted Kroos to be more withdrawn and Muller to play striker for years. Everything else looks sick as hell. Get Lewy on that pre-contract now!

Last summer people at tm.de really thought Modric over Martinez would have been a better deal. Muahaha :D

If we get Lewandoski, our team is going to be so ridiculous next season!

Almost as ridiculous as it is this season lol

Since the press is calling Gotze "Pep's Messi", I decided to do some statistical comparison. They are almost identical.

    Messi at age 20 -

    Games - 43
    Goals - 17
    Assists - 19

    Gotze at age 20 -

    Games - 50
    Goals - 19
    Assists - 22

I'm liking what I see.

But wasn't Messi injured for substantial parts of that season?

Doesn't affect this comparison because it's comparing goals and assists per game, not per season.
