Anybody on this forum who has complained that Juve's current strikers can't finish is not allowed to be in favor of signing Sanchez, that's for sure.

Agreed. The talent that Alexis brings that would help is his creativity. We all know how inconsistent Vucinic is. And Gio has failed to pan out in this respect as well. While Alexis would help this team, we need strikers that bag goals. Suarez would be a better fit if possible.

Ibra, Sanchez, Higuain, Benzema, Chicharito, and Suarez...those are the names we're being linked to in attack.

Chicharito is the modern day Inzaghi.

Laughable overstatement, but he would at least be cheap. If Juve have to add a poacher to the stable, that might be worth a flyer.

I think Josip Ilicic would be cheap if Palermo get relegated.

Even though im Mexican, honestly, Chicharito has an eye for goal and a natural ability to be at the right spot at the right time that I hardly ever see in Modern strikers anymore. Its quite impressive. I would love him here. His first touch would need to improve here though imo to fit into the Count's system. Its doable. Matri's touch has gotten way better since Conte's arrival, and Hernandez's isn't too bad to begin with. Just needs refinement.

melo is on the middle of the bridge for galatasaray .
he didin't join galatasaray's preseason camp,
he come late, and were not ready match fit tempo to start in the league begin,
a few weeks he stayed at bench,
later he gets his jersey back,
then, he start perform very bad,
fans were mad about his poor dissapontmend perform,
they wonder where title winning performance melo gone(last season gala won the title, melo were the one of the key player in this title performance)...

coach fatih terim didint give up on him,no metter of what...
    melo wake up and get back his best perform ones again ;
    vs schalke game....
since then, melo played very well...same as last season title run season permormance.

you see. its not easy desicion for lions...
melo sleeped entire season, and wake up recently since schalke first leg game....

galatasaray looks like good run on the second title ,4 weeks to fin...
melo is key player in this period, thanks to his good performance at dm,
but, i dunno whether gala will continue to him,or not...
20--25 game sleep and then wake up,
thats not good statistics as aperform wise for a pro a player in the big clubs.

it seems gala fans love him,...
i dunno what coach thinks currently... duo to melo's inconsistency....

if he plays entire season same good level, for sure gala can sign,
but, they could find consistent player smilar money or less in france league one etc.

A sleeping Melo who showed up for half of the season is much better than what we ever got out of him.

So Cavani agreed a 4-year deal with PSG, didn't see the wage but lets' assume 8 mil per, and the release is 63 mil... so that's 87 mil to have the player for four years... 2o+ mil per season. Even if you assume you only need five "world class" players costing that, six more one tier below at a net cost of say 15 mil (like the Gotze deal), and seven more who are cheaper due to being backups/bargains/youth products at an average of 8 mil per season... add 15 combined for the squad beyond the 18... that's 250 million a year in straight personnel costs. A club would have to be turning over close to 400 million minimum to afford that sustainably. I'm too lazy to go back and look up what people posted elsewhere, what is Juve making at the moment? I recall the TV deal was like 79 and that was by far the biggest chunk.

What does that have to do with anything? €63 million for Cavani is ridiculous.

Van Persie 'asked for Juve blessing'

It’s reported that Robin Van Persie asked for permission from Juventusbefore signing for Manchester United.

The Dutchman had been extremely close to joining Juve in the summer of 2012 and agreed personal terms, but Arsenal would not lower their £25mprice-tag.

Sky Sport Italia claim that when Manchester United made it clear they were prepared to pay that sum, Van Persie asked Juventus for their blessing to complete the transfer.

He did not want to seem as if he was snubbing the Bianconeri after already agreeing terms.
