I would like to see something like this: ----------------Keane----Villarreal-------------- Magge----Juninho---Sarvas---Donovan------- Dunivant----AJDLG-----Gonzilla-----Franklin --------------------Cudicini---------------------- Subs: Rowe, Meyers, Cochrane, Stephens, Garcia, Clark, Mcbean
I wish that was 0% chance for the rest of the season. Hasn't Liability Leo been responsible for most, if not all, goals scored against us this season??
I just peed my pants with tat GIF...can't wait to get my championship ring....and i predicet LA win 3-1 with Keane back and Donovan finally scoring.
^I'm kinda with that sentiment too. Team rests a bit, one competition to focus on, LD's passing game back last week, Keane back. Solid opponent. LD's first real home game. This one has the makings of a breakout offensive performance. I think a big win is coming - not a 5-1 beatdown, but a confident performance. Let's go.
One last note - Omar is starting to do the things that Geoff Cameron was starting to do in Houston right before he left. Aka, he's bored (because he's so awesome patrolling the back), so he's bombing up the pitch looking to contribute. Bruce needs to keep an eye on that. There's a time and a place, but running yourself out of position against good teams will be punished.
Love the animated gif portraying our last game. In my best teenager voice, "WarGalaxy makes the best gameday thread starters ever!"
Not particularly, they look awfully chintzy. Replica is also a rather strong description based on the images I’ve seen. For comparison here’s a real one
Well folks, we started the season out well, but have been a bit derailed by Monterrey. 3 straight losses, and one of the hardest stretches of our schedule coming up: Kansas City, RSL, Houston. We need some points and need to get back on track. If I had to guess, Bruce is "refocusing" the team in a major way this week. He was sure pissed after Saturday's game. Some positives going forward: 1. We can concentrate on the league and piling up points. 2. Donovan will keep getting better. 3. Cudicini appears to be improving. 4. Cochrane may be a HUGE draft day steal, he's still a rook, but it looks like he can fill in for Duni and may be an eventual replacement. If it turns out like that, Bruce is yet again a draft genius. Cochrane was drafted behind a lot of players who never even got an MLS contract. 5. Meyer is back and may take away Leonardo's spot, which is totally fine with me. I guess what I am saying is I think we've been through the roughest patch of the season as far as personnel are concerned. The games are harder than opening the season, but there really is no reason why the team shouldn't start to gel now. Also, could someone please get the equipment guy to look for Keane's scoring boots? He's going to need them eventually.
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...ries-including-robbie-keane-todd-dunivant-jos Looks like Franklin will be good to go this weekend. Dunivant probably not and no word on Keane. Villareal hurt his shoulder in the reserve match yesterday and not sure if he will be ready to play either. Perfect timing.
Totally agree about Cochrane. In fact when Dunivant is healthy, I would rather see either of these two players take the minutes that are currently going to Clark at left mid (who has been a total nonfactor, IMO).
Kansas plays New York, in New York tonight, well The Red Bulls in New Jersey to be more accurate, but that’s a rough schedule for SKC.
I would argue it also shows he is developing another skill that makes a world class CB, being able to attack. Vertonghen is doing this left and right and he is probably in the top 5 best CBs in the world today.
