They just showed it on zoom on NBCSN, some tatted moron threw his beer. Hopefully he gets arrested, there's no room for that.
Great win! This season looks like it could be something special. Also, I haven't seen Galaxy quest in forever, I really should watch that again.
Sadly I can see a south American style metal fence going up from next match. Imagine that was Beckham or Henry instead of John...
Doubt that. How many games have been played at the stadium formerly known as PHP with no such incident? Isolated. Arrest the guy and give a warning at the beginning of games, maybe.
The Guy ...and FYI: I'm not racist you Oklahoma ********stick. That was a reference to the last match at AZTECA.
DF10 needs to take PKs, not KC, although that GK was waaaay early off the line. I know the refs give some leeway but that was pretty early. Yeah if Donovan can miss one so can Kenny but IMHO all PKs should be taken by DF10. Fantastic save by Raul! He had one really poor pass to John early but overall was too solid and is playing great! What a gutsy performance, unlucky not to get one from the run of play. Dealt with the LAG attack and speed well. Their young F that earned the PK, he is on the USMNT U20 team and is quite good. LAG missed Keane and his movement off the ball. Maybe would have been a draw then. Regardless.... This FCD team is good and works hard and fights together. The beer garden is just getting good. Hope that idiot didn't ruin it. George had quite a gash on his head and was bleeding pretty bad. Hope that doesn't impact the beer garden other than a change to all beer in plastic cups. MLS will get involved and come down hard on this unless we police ourselves quickly and forcefully, as they should. GREAT WIN!!!!
I do like a rowdie soccer experience, but I've got to say, that splitting the goal scorers head open with a beerbottle has to be one of the most moronic goal celebrations since Steve Morrow got hiz clavicle fractured. The Landon Donovan laser pointer giveaway to the first 3date thousand kids was not such a good idea either even though it made me laugh.
Foul on Perez for PK was right in front of me and it was a foul and PK, though not a red card. Blas was pulled back and kicked from behind. PK all the way. The LAG PK, might have been a soft foul on Villarral and he may have bought it but I thought he was contacted and tripped on the cutback. Think both were good calls. In the end it didn't matter anyway. FCD 3 points and looking good!!!!
My friend who I go to the games with is in the grey cap in from of the ********tard. He was wasted, and he got ratted out immediately by people around him. Unfortunately my friend bought two beers at the 75th minute and have him the beer he threw at George.
Just watched the game on the DVR The good: Fernandez's PK save. Way to save our bacon there after Toledo bought that dive. (Yes, it was a dive. He was going down before George John contacted him... rather lightly.) The bad: Cooper's PK. What was that? The ugly: The clown who threw a goddamn bottle at George John. I hope that he got narc'd out and gets banned.
Did anybody else notice that Michel had about 10-15 period during the second period where he made about three or four potential game changing costly errors? Odd because they were interspersed with some continued good stuff. Just looked like he really got inconsistent and sloppy in second half.
What a weird, entertaining game. Raul combining with his CD's may be a work in progress, but is a real beast at times. I'm becoming a fan. I love Cooper, but he is not a natural winger. He gives it all no matter where he plays, but he is a black hole outside. Jair was just awful crossing, and killed multiple chances, but he is starting to realize that he can't just punt it long and gave it to Michel when he could. I guess that says something. He is also throwing it in shorter, thank God. Castillo doesn't like not starting. Hassli actually used his size, strength, and head contributing the lone goal. Good sign. Loyd is playing his ass off. Ferreira is not showing his age. Wtf was with all the backpasses in the first half? Good to see SH address that at halftime. FCD is still snakebit at PK's. Arena is a master at prepping his teams at defending, and FCD still managed to get a tough, hard-fought win.
Absolutely. I love that guy - what heart! I don't think I'd trade him for any other striker in the league. Only negative fwiw is that I think he embellishes a bit too much. To Toledo's credit, he didn't buy most of that crap (from anyone not named Villareal).
All the hoops busted it tonight. Bus driver finally played his cards right. GJ was pretty cool about the mental giant that nailed him. I guess you could say George John has the bottle.
