I know you're bored, so here's a trivia question for you (the first of many, if it goes well):

Baltimore's 1st Mariner Arena (under its various names) has hosted more regular-season professional indoor soccer games than any other building in America (649).

Which arena is second on that list?

And if you're really ambitious, guess the rest of the top five, in order.

    My Wild Guess:

    Mecca/US Bank Arena (Milwaukee)
    Farm Show Arena (Harrisburg)
    Kemper Arena (Kansas City)
    Convo/Wolstein Center (Cleveland)

Kemper Arena in KC hosted pro indoor games starting with the 1981-82 season and went through the 1990-91 season, which was the last season for the Comets. When the Atlanta Attack moved to KC in 1991-92, the Attack played their 1st season at Municipal Auditorium. The Attack then moved into Kemper Arena for the 1992-93 season and played their through the 2004-05 season, although the team was named the Comets the last few season.

Regardless, Kemper Arena hosted 23 seasons of pro indoor soccer......someone else can do the research on the number of games. I'd bet Kemper Arena is around that 500-game mark.

For those of you that have the book "Hot Winter Nights"......you can certainly get the total number of MISL games played.....and the NPSL played 20 home games in the 90's, except for the 22 home games in the 99-00 season.

Do these totals include playoff games, or just regular season only?

    Okay, second question:

Name the youngest and oldest coaches in indoor history.

He's been around long enough for it, so Keith Tozer for both spots.

Nope. Though he was only 27 when the Louisville Thunder hired him. And he's not even 60 yet.

Jeff Hughes was the youngest coach in PASL history. I think Luis Dabo would be our oldest.

You might be right on Dabo, but I have not been able to ascertain his actual birth date yet.

But his last gig in the scope of this study was 1997.
