Sorry, the congrats goes to the ref for standing in the spotlight now. Basically every major decision was decided the wrong way and the final centerpiece the 3:2 is so irregular on so many fronts. The refereeing is really down the drain and the card happy spanish ref tomorrow probably bans half of our team to make up for it

ahh. ok. haven't seen that. maybe the officials got word that they botched the earlier Malaga goal and went about making up for it.

Are people really forgetting that Malaga's second goal was offside? And saying that BVB were more lucky than Malaga? People seem to just remember the last thing that happens but if Malaga's offside goal would have decided the tie, they would be screaming foul. Anyhow, onto the real issue -- UEFA needs to find new referees for these big CL games and stop recycling and reusing these same awful referees. I was gonna say you can't have a referee that refs in Scotland be in charge of any game in the KO rounds of the CL, but it all goes back to every country, even the bigger leagues, having crappy referees. Something needs to be done in every major league across Europe to find better referees and improve the overall standard of refereeing. Video review should also be implemented for gods sake.
