Lamela just had the miss of the year in any league. A header from a yard out, unchallenged...and he puts it over the bar. Incredible miss, truly one of the worst I've ever seen in my life.
Unfortunately Totti is trying to do everything himself right now, but after he set up Lamela so beautifully earlier only for Lamela to inexplicably miss, I can understand why.
I have to agree with Ray Hudson on that one. It was so close to the goal post that Lamela was probably hesitant to drive through the ball with his head and popped it up.
Still a ridiculous miss...I'm not sure there's any way to justify it. Far harder to miss from there than score. That analysis is probably accurate though, as far as what happened.
FT: 1-1 But with those 2 clear chances and being a man up for a while, it will feel like a loss to Roma.
