Very true. Also, in the article it says that Alejandro mentioned that he rarely brings the subject up when he talks to Carlos because it's an uncomfortable one (I only gave the direct quotes. I still hold out hope that he'll be convinced to come back and he's too talented to not try, but at some point we have to ask ourselves if we're becoming the depressed boyfriend post-breakup, latching on to hope that she'll come back.
He had a rough few years. I think it's just a matter of him being somewhat superstitious and being scared of possibly fvcking up the good juju he's got going on. The longer he has a good run the more likely he's to return. My take on it at least.
I hope he decides to come back this summer if he secures a CL spot for RS if not... well there's always the actual WC I suppose.
I haven't but considering it's been uploaded a month it's kind of surprising it isn't here. Maybe I missed it. Either way, I see it as good news for the NT and thank you kind sir.
I think everything needs to be cleared up. Chepo needs to call up Vela and then if he says NO tell everyone he said NO. That way Vela has to answer why and if he says nothing we can let it go and not think that he will eventually change his mind. Now, what I think is going on is that Vela is still mad about being suspended and wants a public apology. From the stories we have heard on TV, I get they had a party after they were let go and he was suspended for that along with Juarez. If Vela wants a public apology to embarrass them for all the crap he took, then he is within his right and I support him because they run the National Team at times without thinking and just reacting to the owners wants. Why do we need Vela? Because we went through the same thing with La Volpe and Blanco, we went to the World cup without our best attacking player. Vela is the same type of player he is our best player that is able to finish plays. Gio is an awesome talent but he lacks a soccer IQ at important moments, Chicharito is what a natural goal scorer, and Guardado hate to say it-but he's a one trick pony will it kill him to cut in to the box. Vela provides that something special because he is the combination of the best attributes of our best attacking players. If it stays the same we will be saying it is 2006 all over again.
He already came out and said he was the one that denied that last call up. He said all the reasons were his own personal ones, that's it.
Some interesting stats about Vela. I think he'd beast as a CF behind Javier. http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/2...-of-a-former-arsenal-expendable?ICID=HP_TS_22
