RC, where did you get this seating/price chart? Ticketshafter's page shows a much simpler layout with just two choices (upper and lower), but the price drop down corresponds to what you posted.
Well, you can now select 8 tickets, but you can't pick your price range. In other words, select whatever price range you want, they'll give you 8 random tickets having nothing to do with your price range.
I ran into the same issue. Use the layout provided in this thread as your guide...for example, if you want lower midfield, choose the $110 seats in the initial drop-down box. I had to search 3 times before I found what I wanted...really wonky.
I did - I selected the $50 tickets but it kept actually assigning me tickets all over the stadium at different price ranges as opposed to the tickets I wanted. I'm guessing that's why the page is down now.
What's astonishing to me in this day and age is why they would not communicate at all about this - they have a Twitter account. Would it be so hard to say "Site is not working" and then, when it is "Site is working"?
I keep telling it $85 seats and it keeps giving the front row. The captcha thing over and over is killing me.
Just got my four tickets, row D, section CHR109. Does anyone know if section CHR109 is the same has section 109 (lower level on the center line)? When I finally got it to work, I had selected a price level ($110 plus the ripoff fees), but also selected lower level and midfield from the other two drop-downs. Good luck, all.
Btw - to any Sounders fans that might know, is row D in the lower level fourth row from the bottom or top of the section?
Given all of the issues with their site this morning (the page is down again), I'd confirm 15-20 times with them that you have what you think you have and that they haven't sold your tickets to someone else. Just trying to help...
Thanks, but I got an email confirmation with my order number and it shows the same seats. I'm golden. Who knew ass-rape by the USSF and ticketshafter could feel so good?
I got an email saying this. I bought my tickets through AO just now. No BS fees, just a simply $7 shipping rate.
Got mine through AO. Going to literally fly back from Montego Bay on Sunday into STL, drive back to KC that night, fly out the next afternoon to Seattle. Two caps in 4 days, 5k+ miles, two countries, not too shabby. Just need to figure out a place to crash. Either at a hostel near the stadium or hoping some AO member will let me couch surf.
Damn you addictive WCQ!!!!!! In, tix bought. And find it interesting that ussoccer.com has big AO picture and link right to the AO tickets page. It's an interesting dynamic between the 2 organizations.
Yep, actually rather see honduras in Sandy (family connection), but flights are priced brutal out of chicago. Half the price to seattle. I land 130p ish, and wisely taking the 1155pm redeye back that same night. Domestically that will pay major dividends. 400 bucks-ish on AA. Y tu?
Got four tickets, ready to make the 14 hour drive in June. Locals, tell me, what is a good (close) place to stay and/or watering hole to meet before/after the game?
