They dominated most of that game. The play was much more balanced today

Can't complain, I was really afraid of a 3-0 win for Brazil but the Azzurri redeemed themselves in the 2nd half.

Also, I love Balotelli <3, great goal.

Overall I think Italy played well, apart from some very pathetic defensive mistakes and Osvaldo who I never liked, how I miss our legendary defenders =(

    Forza Italia!

What a 2nd half. If we play like that Italy can beat any team on the planet.

De Sciglio is only 20 years old, he will learn from the mistakes.

The other option is to go ala Juve with 3 in the back.

Well, he should play. What was the point of Antonelli playing? He is not a future player for us.

If Ogbonna playing left back is like Chiellini playing left back then no. Personally never liked putting players out of position like with De Sciglio today.

Prandelli's determination to appear inclusive and merit-based by picking rubbish players with no future is going to bite Italy in the ********ing ass at some point, that's for sure.

I stand by my point. We attacked much better than them.

We came back and the match ended 2-2 but we should have won. Brazil played well but we played better. Julio Cesar had a great game though.

Goes to show you how many late bloomers Italy have.

The only call-ups I disagreed with were Maggio, Antonelli and Osvaldo. Giaccherini actually had a good game.

Football is about attack and defence. If you make it easy with stupid errors like we did, you will get punished. If we make errors at the back we are just making it harder for ourselves. Next time, we might not be able to break a team down and they could put nine men behind the ball after scoring from our error.

Defensive lapses in the first, really need to work on that Prandelli. Second was much much better attacking, and if not for the better attacking, I wonder if the defense could have held up. Overall, could have been a win if some chances were taken a bit better.

I don't know why Osvaldo was called up either. He's suspended against Malta and is in terrible form.

This whole game was like a WWF match.

Basically just a lot of showmanship and not any real focus on man marking or even adequate zonal marking.

Brazil mailed in the second half and it might of been because Italy was fresher and/or maybe both federations came to an agreement about the outcome for publicity reasons etc.

What worries me is that Brazil is not a great team, and the world knows it. With that in mind you just know they're going to get a lot of favors when they host the World Cup - Fifa would never let Brazil exit their own tournament early despite them being not up to snuff.
