It's Rivalry Week in MLS. 9 league games and the conclusion of the CCL quarterfinals. Vancouver has no game this week. Tuesday, March 12 CCL: Seattle Sounders (USA) v. Chivas USA 4:00 pm UniMas Bizarrely, the top league match-up based on the current overall standings is the LAG-CHV game on Sunday. Next best is MON-TFC. Would not have predicted that.
Rooting interests for Week 3: CCL view: Tigres over Sounders; suck it, Seattle Herediano over Gals; and you too, LA. League view: United over Red Bulls; let's bury them early Fire over Sporks; probably not but we can hope Reds over L'Impact; hey, it worked last week. Finally. Revs over Union; meh Quakes over Crew; I guess Rapids over Royals; why not? Timbers over Sounders; Seattle 0 for their first 4? I like it! Goats over Gals; I would laugh and laugh and laugh
They should make Chelis and Arena do a joint post-game press conference. I would pay money to watch it.
I don't see a pregame thread, so I'm going to write here. Quick question, are there any buses planned for this weekends game in Dallas? Thanks.
I don't like to start pre-game threads until we've played the game next on the schedule. One thing at a time.
Wants > needs I want to talk Crap!!! FU DALLAS!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry Dallas I mean FRISCO!!!! Dallas does not have an MLS TEAM!!!! EL JEFE and the rest of you I know you guys are reading our threads you love our threads and wish you had the fan culture we have after only having an MLS team for 7 years!!!
I love it how they are heavily disappointed in Watson. There's good Houston trash. (wondo) and bad Houston trash (maybe kei and Cruz and for sure Watson) what did they expect they were getting from us? Actually haven't actually seen Watson play for Dallas yet so I can't criticize his play
Very decent rival. Definitely going to try my hardest to make the trip up there this year. Great stadium and atmosphere.
Since it's "Rivalry Week" (just go with it), NBC Sports is apparently going to do NFL RedZone type coverage on Sat: http://m.mlssoccer.com/news/article...nders-portland-how-nbcs-rivalry-day-will-work
http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...s-down-week-2-mansally-head-butt-and-skc-mass Alvario Saborio of RSL was also fined for "aggravated dissent" to the referee. Additionally, Kansas City is now on not-so-secret double probation for violation of the mass confrontation rule.
Yeah I have no idea how they're going to be able to cut away constantly. Its going to take some real directorial skill.
I just want to be the first to give Peter Vermes the official Senor Cool Whiny Bi*** of the Month Award! Congrats Petey!
Absolutely love what I've seen of the NBC Sports Breakaway. It'll really rock on a day with more goals.
Me too. Everyone needs to visit this link daily, so that NBC knows that there are plenty of soccerheads around. http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/
