Poor quality render by a Polish store, but it gives you an idea of what it will look like. Predator LZ 2 SL will weigh 200 g (7 oz) and have a Sprintskin upper.
those white ones aren't a colorway, they are how adidas advertises a specific part of the boot. In the picture they whiteout everything except the focus of what they are discussing that is why the band in the middle picture is coloured, the upper in the top picture and the "powerspine" in the bottom picture
Yeah, this is definitely what's happening here. Gives some good ideas for miadidas creations though. Lets just hope we can change the color of that neon energysling.
Ordered my LZ today. Got the Black/Pop colorway. Normally a vapor guy I hope they don't disappoint me because the adipowers did.
I think a lot people were disappointed... when they broke. Other than that I agree, most people that tried them loved the adipowers.
I was disappointed with them too .... they were too bulky. I know a lot of people loved them and hate the LZs. I absolutely LOVE my LZs though. One thing i will say is you have to give them a couple of wears when you first wear them, let the upper mould to your foot properly, also the rubber fins mould and soften with wear. I switched from Adizeros to LZs and so glad i did. appleCORR
Well yes of course. Pretty much every single person I've talked to agree it's one of the best ever Predator boots.
^ Where did you get those boots?!? Will they be releasing that colourway? Hope they will or the white ones used to highlight the zones as seen on the pic from gunt. Those colourways are so much nicer than Adidas WILL release!
I know there unlikely to release a colourway even close to those but think most people agree that they are nicer than what Adidas release nowadays. Can't help but feel that if they were released they'd have more sales simply because the boots look nice. While I know they create bright boots so they are recognisable on tv, I miss the magic of not telling what boots someone is wearing instantly and dying to find out...
Well I also found the Adipowers kinda bulky. They stretched out alot & broke after a 1,5 month. So reasons enough to be disappointed I think. Hope the LZ will be my final reconciliation with Adidas. Adizero were a start. Used to be Adidas boy because with had to use Adidas boots at my team. Always had a problem with overstretched boots ( copa's & predators ). Because of that I ended in Vapors.
I just found the Adipowers very similar to the T90s that were out at the time, they felt too thick and so did the rubber elements on them. I'll be honest I only wore them a handful of times because I just couldn't get used to them so maybe if id been a bit more patient and broken them in id have loved them. Talking of Predators, Steven Gerrard has been snapped training in a blackout pair of the new model today. appleCORR
For me the adipowers felt like a adizero with more stability. It was perfect. They were lightweight, offered a great soleplate, and were super comfy. The rubber element was never an issue for me. They were ready to use right out of the box. I will say they had durability issues though. Still one of my fav power boots of all time.
I think it was an issue for me because i went straight from wearing Adizeros to Adipowers and as i said i never really gave them a chance i just went back to my trust Adizeros. If I'd stuck with them for a bit longer im sure my opinon would be a little bit different. appleCORR
