I don't know anything in regards to all of this previous^^^^^ but if we lose Dom because of a new owner I will raise hell and join a supporters group and only chant about how stupid the ownership is and that we want DOM back.!!!

While I don't have first hand knowledge of any such banter, I can say there were a lot of whales at the ASG Hotel ZaZa & HOB events and everybody seemed itchin' to get the Don's ear.

You should see the amount of PR/Billaboards that AEG has padif ro the Gals over here...Doubt they are plastering the highways with billboards up to 2 or 3 in a couple of miles on the 710 & 5!

The Dynamo have cool billboards too. I know it sounds like I'm being sarcastic, but I promise I'm not.... they have tweeted pictures of them, they look amazing only I haven't seen any. But then I don't live in Houston and lately I've only driven 59 to the stadium. But I'm sure they are plastered elsewhere and are cool.

I saw one on 59, northbound as you head toward I-10. I think it read "Champions" (and some other stuff).

They each have a different word followed by a picture.

    Champions
    Streamers
    Celebration
    Unbeaten?

I've seen them all...well if there are only 4 lol

And of course, I take full credit for the "Home of....Streamers!" one since it was my email that got CC to have the ban lifted.
Thank you, thank you very much.

I'll take credit for unbeaten. Last game I missed was that loss. Day after my birthday. After that, I haven't missed a single game, and we've been undefeated.

    ....you're welcome.

I'll give credit to Champions to Dom cause well, I'm not selfish.

The Quatari's bought the WC and it is my understanding that some of the investment group that owns PSG were part of the "Bribe", excuse me "Bid" committee. These guys are bad news period. Hell even Sept has finally come out and said that the bid process was tainted but won't do anything about it. Some of these people and their relatives were a part of the "tainting". The Don better step in and kill this thing if he can.

Uncle Phil clocks in at No. 11 on the Forbes list of soccer billionaires. In keeping with tradition, there is a notable omission from his write-up:

According to the Sports Business Journal tweets (@dkaplansbj), AEG is no longer for sale, Uncle Phil is re-engaging with the business, and Tim Liewicke is out.

Isn't there a conflict of interest here somewhere, with the Dynamo owner situation? I like Uncle Phil, but doesn't he need to sell the Dynamo at some point?

Need? It would probably be a good idea but required? Not really.

Several teams in Liga MX have shared ownership. They get by.

Grupo Televisa owns America and Necaxa.
Grupo Salinas owns Chiapas and Morelia.
Grupo Carso owns Leon, Pachuca, and Tecos.

    There may be others.

Donnie G has said that he wants each owner(ship group) to have only 1 team, but he never put a timetable on that. Since there are only 4 teams involved anyways, it isn't that big a priority, I imagine.

This could be interesting. While Leiweike never was able to spend the money on Houston players like LA, he did help get AEG on boars with the stadium and all appearances were he liked Canetti.

It could be worse. I remember years back when Necaxa was very good América would end up with Necaxa's best players. Necaxa was like the Dynamo, not getting the money or the attention of their owners who gave América everything they wanted. But when Necaxa would discover or develop good talent, the next year they'd be traded to América.
