Trying to be as unbiased as possible and from what we've seen, I think if I were to rank them in order, I'd probably go this way:

8. LA 2nd
9. SEA 1st
10. POR 2nd
11. NY 1st
12. POR 1st

15. HOU 1st

I'm surprised my list ended up the way it did from the initial leaks to how I feel now.

 

All these teams are yours, except Toronto. Attempt no winning there. Use them together. Use them in peace.

 

Ok so I've found some Adidas originals gear which looks pretty sharp. These are the only three i've found so far though.

It's truly mind-boggling.

 

In regards to shorts, are the teams mandated or expected to ony wear one color/style of shorts?
many of the kits were previewed with white shorts (or the lighter color out of the one featured on the kit). It just seems that the shorts featuring the darker color seem to work best.

Overall not a bad crop of kit, though the change because we are scheduled to change means some teams lost kit which were already great to begin with.

 

It's been done. In fact, by the first German club to wear a sponsor, back in 1972 when the DFB still banned sponsorships.

 

Missouri: Inherently darker than Kansas.

Or am I drawing the wrong conclusions from that shirt?

 

Hi, been checking out the thread since I've always been a gear head. Overall, I'd say adidas have definitely paid a lot more attention to MLS kits this season. I'm extremely jealous of the Union third. Really sharp.

While I definitely like some more than others, I think once seeing the jerseys worn, all of them—good or bad—look better. CHeck out this video from kicktv:

Evidently DC was on the new jersey every year schedule until that became a thing.

 

Is it safe to say KC's tertiary jersey will no longer be LIVESTRONG yellow?

 

Is that really the color's name in catalogs? I'm surprised Nike doesn't own that.

 

SKC does not currently have a tertiary jersey, and what makes you think that the plan was ever to introduce one that was LIVESTRONG yellow? The only rumors that I have seen suggest silver.

 

I wish we wouldn't do silver. Sporting blue is already close enough to silver. We need something very different. Red. Pink. Gold. Something like that.

I didn't say it had to be horrific. I just think it should feature some contrast. Especially now that our primary and secondary are somewhat less distinguishable than in past.

Sporting's jerseys looked like absolute shit in person. Distracting on the field. Awful. And this has nothing to so with the result. They were the better side.
