As is nearly always the case, a comparison of men's and women's sport is invalid.

Most of the differences people think they see between men's and women's soccer are figments of their imaginations.

Female players are often praised for being unselfish, as if that were a virtue which, in many cases, it is not.

The decision to hold the ball or pass can't be reduced to a simple formula. Every play is unique, as is every player. It has nothing to do with gender.

In any case, it's at least a little off-topic in this thread.

I have, and you're right. The women's game is funny.

So if you gave to the ticket fund with the thinking that 2005 would happen...and now there is talk of 2005 possibly not happening and in it's place a soft schedule will happen...do you have the option of getting a refund or does the league keep your money and roll it over into 2006?

Even though I didn't contribute, I think I'd be asking for my $ back.

Fear, FYI, ticket fund was a pledge...no money exchanged hands.
