May be a dumb question, but why no love for PS3/4?

I believe the previous post answered your question:

    We do our best!

And Estiv-o, if you really liked MLS, you'd own an xbox360 ;)

Yup, this is what we primarily use. We bought our Roku through Playon, and basically got a lifetime sub to the playon service for free, which adds a ton more stuff to Roku's capability, such as Hulu for free, and a bunch of other channels. And there are very interesting third party plugins for playon as well!

Sadly, these days there's just so many choices in set-top appliances, it's just not feasible to get them all. In my house, I have a Wii, a PS3, and an Apple TV, in addition to the cable box and DVD player. I have no more room to put stuff, either because I'm out of ports, or because there's literally no room near the TV. I'd get a Roku in a second, but the only TV I could plug it into is in the room where I don't need it. (Computer's in that room.) So I'm left hoping MLS will develop for one of the devices I already own.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: Don't look down at people who don't own this or that device. We made our choice when we bought what we have, now we have to live with it.

While I'm at it, why do we still call them "set-top boxes" when it's not physically possible to put anything on top of a modern TV? Hell, I had to tape my Wii sensor bar to the TV to keep it from falling off.

I have the iPhone app, but never subscribed to the service. I was looking through the schedule of games and it has the BPL and Ligue 1 games listed.

I think they're using UCL & EPL matches to test the system. I read it either here or on that Reddit thread that was linked to.

(Should we all watch these games and give it a good stress test?)

I also was supposed to have the auto-renew,but when I go to log into the website it asks for me sign up for $60 instead of the promo $50. Any ideas what's going on? All my CC info is in there, but my address changed, I wonder if that's the problem.

I am trying to decide whether to stick with Direct Kick or switch to MLS Live this season. I have a couple questions.

    1) Are the archived games available on all devices that support the product? I read somewhere that archived games were only available on a PC but it might have been an old article.

    2) How long does it take for archived games to be available? I'm a Fire season ticket holder so I'm often gone when many of the games are on. I like to watch 1 or 2 other games when I get home from the Fire games. Are they available within hours, next day, longer?

After the Olympics were over, I used MLS Live on my iPhone to catch up on the weeks I missed. I had no problem watching compressed matches for all the games for the previous three weeks and could have watched entire games, if I'd had the time.
Games that are not broadcast nationally are available immediately after the game is over, although you will have skip over pre-game commericial breaks yourself. A few days after the game, the video is formally "archived" by being edited to remove pre-game and halftime chatter.

Nationally broadcast games aren't available until 48 hours after the broadcast.

Thank you. Direct Kick has been cancelled and MLS Live ordered. Would love an XBox app but until then the iPad air played through Apple TV will suffice.

So, MLS Live works on the IPhone 5?

Well, considering that it works on the iPhone 4S, I'd assume so. The 5 is backwards compatible. Now whether it's optimized for the iPhone 5 is another question.

    Two Questions:

Will there be a free preview this weekend for opening weekend?

What's the difference between direct kick and MLS Live? I thought MLS Live was just Direct Kick update and rebranded?

Direct Kick is a television service that you subscribe to through your cable or satellite provider. MLS Live is a web-based service.
