Today's MLS Daily hinted at Android finally getting MLS Live loving:

    About 4:06 in:

"Before we let everyone go today I'd like to remind you about MLS Live that's the place where you are going to find 230 games streamed online all the games from MLS this season you'll get more information about the Android and iPhone apps coming later!"

I suspect with Android being name dropped that we might finally get a true dedicated app for MLS Live this year. It's about freaking time!

Also might be worthy of mentioning...

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before . . . will I be able to see matches I missed or only live matches will be able to be viewed?

I haven't had the online version in about 6 or 7 years

This may be a stupid question so that's why I'm going to preface this with the "this may be a stupid question" tagline... but in anyone's opinion who is familiar with the app do you think this will be offered on a nook tablet? I pretty much have struck out with all other streaming opportunities as my laptop shit out and I have a ps3.

This is nothing more than a guess, but I would say it's highly doubtful they'll offer it on the Nook. I'm surprised they're actually supporting Android this season.

Don't know. How tech savvy are you? Do you have an android operating system running on it? If they have a free trial for mls live you could try it out to see if you can get it to work.

That's interesting about the "free game". MLB.tv does the exact same thing. They show one live game for free every day. All you have to do is sign up for an account. The only problem is that they always pick what they think will be the most mediocre of games. It always featured teams like Houston, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Colorado. I would imagine that if MLS follows through with this, they'll be giving away a whole lot of TFC and Chivas matches for free.

MLS has already given the free games a name: It's called their, "Stop Watching MLS for a Minute and Do Some Yard Work" package.

You can get SD cards that allow you to boot up Android. Look at N2Acards.com (nook to android).
