When it comes to colas I prefer Coke...hands down it's my favorite...and i really don't like Pepsi. Certain foods go great with colas...if you are eating mexican or chinese (and not drinking a beer) i am all about a cola. So I am in Knoxville, I think at a Don Pablo's, during a conference. I order a coke...and i start to drink it...it's a Pepsi. So the next time the waitress comes over i tell her sorry but I thought they had Coke and that I didn't want a Pepsi. To which she replies, "Dear, Pepsi is a coke". I almost choked her right there...but instead decided to wait until after we were done eating (so that she couldn't spit in my food) to tell her that she was a moron.

I'm surprised she didn't ask you which kind. That's usually the question. Same thing when someone up here asks you for a "pop," you say what do you have?

Anyway that was your first mistake going to a place that serves Pepsi products, no self respecting southern resturant would serve such filth. Any way when I ever go back down, I never get coke anyway, I always get Sweet Tea because Yankee bastards don't understand that you brew sweet tea you don't bring me out a glass of tea and tell me there are ********ing sugar packets on the table.

Pepsi is a coke, that's a gas. My car is a ford so it's all good. ;)
Crazy Southerners, where did they come from?

Pepsi products taste better than all their Coke counter-parts.

The gap between Mountain Dew and Mello Yellow is like the gap in the arms race between U.S. and Pakistan.

I agree about Mtn. Dew, however, beyond that...you must be hitting the bong. Coke is vastly superior to Pepsi...however...Wild Cherry Pepsi is better than Cherry Coke, IMO. Diet varieties? Why bother!

On a side note, I just cracked the top off the last 20oz Mountain Dew I'll be having for a while. I'm going the kick this stuff almost the same way I did last time: replacing it with Gatorade and grapefruit juice and 30 minute trips to the gym for lunch. This time it'll be Propel, protein shakes, cranberry juice water and 30 minutes of impact weight training.

As I savor the last gulps of this highly addictive, caffeine laced nectar, I ask that the rest of you be understanding as I begin go through withdrawals. I might say things I wouldn't mean to say or do other stupid crap like buy a Freddy Adu jersey or agree with Andrulis. If not understanding, then at least be creative in your publicly humiliating shaming of me.

    Ahhh..

As stated earlier...the stuff is like crack. I have managed to escape it's clutches from time to time, however it calls to me. In convenience stores, the grocery store, gas stations, pop machines, those damned commercials...damn those commercials. You can't escape it no matter how hard you try.

By far the worst coke in the history of sweet carbonated beverages: Root Beer.

Name your brand, it's all crap.

el escondido on 5th has 16 ounce coca-cola and pepsi in glass bottles(as well as the finest tacos in the city) and its better than cocacola from any other container in the world! Inka-cola is fantastic. creme soda the color of mt.dew from peru. so good coca-cola had to buy them out in order to compete with them. ahhh america, if you can't beat 'em, buy em. also, does anyone know why coca-cola from mcdonalds is better than coca-cola from any other fast food restaurant???

Eggy-- I can not believe this thread has lasted. Coca-Cola in the old glass 16 ounce bottles was by far the best on a hot summer day (as a youth).

Wow..a thread in the Crew forums asking this question..Awesome.

Personally, I've never given a rat's rear 'bout pop. I like to drink water or some good ol' oj. I have no real "fav" kind of pop. Pepsi and Coke? Who really cares? Why be so passionate about such a stupid thing?

Though, I do "side" with Pepsi, if asked the question which is better..but that's only because they support Crew.

"Rock and Roller Cola Wars, I can't take it any more!" Yeah.

Being from Michigan, it has to be Vernor's.

Being honest, it has to be Coke Classic.

Jones Vanilla Cola is great. Then they have aload of these berry kinds but I don't feel manly drinking some pinkish soda.......in public anyways.

I particularly enjoy some varieties of Birch Beer.
