Doesn't Ochoa's contract expire after this season?? If so, why would Ajaccio let him leave for nothing?

According to the interview Ajaccio's president gave to ESPN today, it's up in June 2014. So they'll almost certainly be selling him before the start of next season.

33 isn't that old for a goalie. I can still see Cech playing at 33 IF he keeps his level up.

Courtois' rise is impressive though. At just 20, he's already a starter for Athletico. I could see him knocking Cech off the starter spot even if Cech plays well

I agree that 33 is not old for a goalie but Abramovich is too impulsive and is not loyal to his players. That's why I don't see Cech there at 33. However, if he somehow manages to hang around at Chelski that long, then I doubt Courtois will wait around for him to retire...

nothing will come of this. Just like nothing came of all the random Mexican players who had trials at City during the summer. This is just the agents getting players names out there. The clubs themselves will probably have a look at anyone with an agent.

    Jurgen Damm.

He's gonna make me watch more games de la autonoma, y de la Copa MX en general...there are a lot of interesting young players getting the opportunity to show what they got in this competition.

Copa MX, no se que seria de mi vida sin ti. :whistling:

That's why they call it silly season, it wouldn't be the same without a bunch of bullshit rumors lol. I actually enjoy it even if its 99% bs, it keeps things interesting. Mostly if theres a slight sliver of possibility in the story.

Except for Fassi. ******** that guy.

It would good if Ajaccio becomes the door for Mexican keepers:

    http://msn.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...than-orozco-reconoce-labor-de-guillermo-ochoa

Adding that Orozco is the closest thing to Ochoa among our pool of keepers, they share the same strengths and weaknesses so I see him doing as fine and maybe having some flashy games agaisnt PSG or Lyon that would be good for his caché there.

They should go for Corona. Orozco doesn't really convince me...

They would want to play middle man, theres no way they would turn a profit on corona, hes too old already.

True but I think their first objective should be to stay in first division so they can receive more funds that way. Ochoa has single - handedly gotten them enough points to stay above the drop zone. I know Corona can do that but I'm not so sure about Orozco...

Orozco makes a lot of flashy saves (maybe even exaggerates a bit) but i don't think he's all that good. I think hes a slightly above average gk. Having said that, i can see Ajaccio trying to make a move for him based on Ochoa's success. What do you guys think he'd cost? i think 2-3 is a fair number

Its a fair number, but he's worth more than that to Monterrey, who prob won't find a comparable keeper for that amount.

I have said b4 that Gullit Pena would be perfect for Newcastle, they are in need of a midfielder that can both attack and defend well.
