    lolz

i love how adidas takes risks... but that also leads to all ends of the spectrum. not a fan of the random stripes on the deutschland jacket, or the fake plunging v... if they keep these trends, it will definitely help my bank account the next few years :p

I think what I like most about Adidas has been their simplicity at times... the classic look of 3 stripes is often the most appealing.

    Thumbhole sounds dirty...

Actually, if you live where I do, the thumbhole thing is somewhat nice on these cold winter days.
I have some built into a ski jacket and use them frequently.

Paolo - thanks for keeping pants on. LOL! Actually that kit looks very sharp. Nice purchase.
So is this the new retro kit sold on the website?

I'll definitely agree w Eiss and Cris that I don't like the v-necks. But....I'll also say that there have been NUMEROUS kits introduced by Bayern that I absolutely hated............for awhile. Then they grew on me after watching the team play in them a few times. And I've heard numerous others say the same... Again, I DON'T like the v-necks... And here's to hoping that they never get the chance to grow on me!

It's not "I LOVE it*" but also not triggering my gag reflex; I like it more already than the "zipper" kit, which looked BAD but once I saw it in real life looked fine.**

RE: thumb holes - LOVE THEM. Maybe impractical in different climates, but in the Midwest in fall they are especially handy when you're doing outdoor sport/activity and just warming up or watching an outdoor event, then you don't have to mess with gloves. I have two adidas Bayern L/S training tops and two regular adidas L/S (climawarm? climalite?) liners with thumb holes and they're really practical & wear them lots. Once you warm up or go inside just roll 'em back, no problem and not visible unless you're looking for it. Also nice for skiing & most of the $$$ downhill ski jackets have them built in now.
    * black 4/6 CL kit, black 11/12 CL kit, white 10/11 away kit***
** IN DEFENSE of the 9/10 kit: the "breastplates" and "zipper" stand out way less in person and the fabric, some kind of extra-breathable stuff (without going in the attic to look - it's the same fabric with the micro-holes in it on the white parts of the 10-11 home kit), looks and feels really nice. I got the L/S though, I didn't like the big white band at the end of the arms on the S/S...
*** I know, not a lot of people liked the 10/11 away kit. I did.

Heres the actual link to the auction (mods feel free to remove if you need to)

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281043106130

The guy who contacted me, his ebay userpage is right here
    http://myworld.ebay.com/brittanyandmaurice?ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:US:1181

If anyone here is interested in the jersey I would be more than willing to swap it for a size M or offer a cut price deal. It is 100% authentic since I bought it directly from the Bayern store. I just don't know what I was thinking getting an XL at the time
