((you know, for a half second I thought.. nobody will read a thread that says holiday cheer, and thought to make a joke and say, "Holiday Beer" instead.

But then again, it's 8:25 in the morning, and the last thing most of us need right now is a holiday beer. -- Da Foz))

Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and may your airing of grievances be short this Festivus season.

Here's hoping that Santy Claws left you some good gifts under the tree..; and let's hope he left a goal scoring striker and a playmaking midfielder under the Revs tree while we're at it!

Hmmm, Irish coffee. :) (We're Rev fans. Drinking is how some of us cope.) Here's to hoping BB, MB, and JH found a strong right back, center back, and league-leading striker under their trees.

Hug your loved ones. Smile and say hi to a stranger. Have a Merry and a Happy (and the rest of the dwarfs, if you must).

Jim is spot on as usual. Interesting breakdown of revs' salary vs the rest of the league and general management. This is a cogent point:

Yet another excellent article by Jim, well done. What I find astonishing is that Ridge Mahoney rates Kellyn Rowe so highly. Unless I'm totally misinterpreting the findings, he has him as the 8th best in the league at his position and he couldn't even hold a starting position for one of the worst teams in the league?

And the fact that Kevin Allston makes 3 times Lee Nguyn's salary is downright criminal!
