Just got home. We were at the game, but what happened? Couldn't see much from our seats. We had fun being with the fans and celebrating with the team, though. Champions!!!!! Looking forward to watching the game ASAP!!!!
The aerial shot towards the end of the broadcast (before the trophy presentation) is truly gorgeous, with streams of sunlight bursting through the clouds and illuminating the HDC in a golden glow. Forget the conspiracy theories. The reason why the Galaxy are winners is because God is a Galaxy fan.
JukeBox, the kids were all really cute - Becks 3 boys all had full #23 Galaxy uniforms on, Robbie's little boy so much hair!, and Mike had a cutie-pie with him, and I assume Bruce was holding a grandchild? I love how the players bring their families on the field to celebrate.

I got back a bit ago. I will start by admitting that was an emotional experience for me. The energy at the stadium was incredible. Kudos to Houston supporters for coming out in impressive numbers. Other than that it was amazing and I feel completely drained but it was worth it.
Apparently Boswell missed the entire 2nd 45 minutes: Houston's Boswell on MLS Cup loss: "We outplayed LA" Houston was solid. But to say they outplayed us? I'm sorry, but no. Outplayed makes it sound like a "fluke" win. That 2nd half was all LA.

so, how about that LA Galaxy huh?? all we do is WIN!! superstition wouldnt let me post throughout the playoffs, it was a long couple of weeks, but i loved reading everyone's posts as soon as we started against San Jose. despite the loss against SJ, this team "felt" like a champion. Our D was once again dominant, and the big stars...you know, Magee and those three other guys...showed up when they needed to. so happy right now. i love this team, i love this town, i love the hardcore fans (BSoccer included), and much MUCH respect to #23. thanks for the memories mate. and if this is the last time we see #10 in a LAG kit, then i'm glad to see him go out as a champ.
