Not really. That's the reaction of a guy that knows they are still 1-1 with 30 mins to play and need another goal to win. That's the reaction of a 1.BL player playing in the 2.BL and knowing that they need another goal.
That said, he could at least be a little happier for a guy who just came back from a long injury lay-off to score his first ever first team goal. At least, I think it's his first. Fact-check, anyone?
I think that's the reaction you get when you take a snapshot of a milisecond in time. It was a photograph. If it would've been taken a half second later the 1.BL player may have had a smile on his head with his arms starting to hug him.
He appears 100% Hawaiian to me. But what do i know? IIRC, he moved to California with his mom and sister at a young age.
I was pretty much under the assumption he was Black/Asian. He's just from Hawaii. Like his middle name indicates Asian heritage..I'm guessing.
Bobby Shou Wood doesn't sound like the name of a person who is 100% Hawaiian. He's Blasian. The only ethnic Hawaiian to be capped by the USMNT (as opposed to a guy from Hawaii like Brian Ching or Zach Scott).........................is still Kamani Helekunihi Hill. Now that's a Hawaiian name Natasha Kai on the women's side is part native Hawaiian.
Here are the Kicker ratings for the last game for Bobby. They gave him a 4, 1 being best and 6 being worst. Clearly the guy doing the scoring watched the first 20 mins, took a pee and got a schweinswurstlsemmel and caught the train back to Perlach to sit on his arse and watch rerun of Knightrider followed by a healthy serving of Heino's Xmas Special. I would expect a 2 for this past match having scored, unless this same putz is doing the ratings.
Oh boy, could you please use a little less stereotypes the next time when you're (rightfully) railing at the kicker guy? It's only kicker... remember? I know the Amis dont know but c'mon.....why do you still read them? Still hilarious though how the Hoff made you guys believe he was big in Germany....
We both know the guys who do the ratings for Kicker are the German version of the nerds from the Big Bang Theory. We have an old adage in he US: He who can't play coaches, he who can't coach then referees, he who can't referee is a loyal fan, he who cannot be a loyal fan is a critic. http://www.frequency.com/video/critic-toby-keith-with-lyrics/57342031
He was big in Germany. You are probably too young to know - but for a short time in the late 80s/early 90s he was legitimately popular. I thought he was pretty cool myself back then .
He's only (recently) 26. I told him I have t-shirts older than him. It's okay. We all have our national "shames". We seem to have more of them than anyone though.
