He posted on twitter last week that he was called up to the first team against Tottenham, but didn't make the 1st 18. Hopefully he's in the 1st 18 this week.

Recently he congratulated 3 or 4 teammates from the Dev Squad for going out on loan. Hopefully this means he could be on the verge of seeing some action.

I was going to post..but posting twitter is a bit creepy for me :)

He's in the 20 for West Ham tomorrow but it's not yet determined that he's in the final 18

What's important here is that he plays as a #8, or CAM or attacking pinched in right midfielder. If he is being deployed as a defensive midfielder, you will see why england can't produce any #10's.

Not 100% sure but i believe that West ham has been using him as a CAM and RM, although his defensive play has been praised a few times recently..hopefully he doesn't become a DM

Does West Ham even play with a # 10? I think they're playing pretty direct this season.

The West Ham Dev Team I think plays a 4-4-2 with LLeget and George Moncur in the middle and Matthia Fanimo and Blair Turgott on the wings. I don't think Lletget and Moncur play as box to box MF'ers, but more likely they form a diamond in the middle with Lletget moving into a CAM role. But more likely as is the case with many Dev Teams the coaches are probably experimenting with different tactics and moving players around.

It's a very talented group and WH could become a team to watch in the coming years

I'm not sure Sam allows anyone to wear #10. Nolan or Noble would be closest I guess. He's notoriously direct.

    Knocking on the door.

Still think he has a chance to make our Brazil squad. We don't have many like him in central midfield. Just Bradley and the ghost of Stuart Holden.

Wow. I dunno. I know what you mean, though, he's got an incredibly creative flair about him. But making a World Cup squad is a whole different ballgame. He needs to start getting first team game action this season, and if he shows well enough, perhaps he can get a few starts next season. But even that may not be enough. Even though I'm a huge fan of his, that lack of consistent starting is still what is holding Eric Lichaj back in my opinion.

BINGO !!! it's all about PT and performing, even though I think he has a greater upside then both Joe Corona and Mixx he's probably a full year behind where he needs to be

It's probably based more on what I have seen of Mixx and Corona then Lletget. I also think Mixx and Corona are terrific players. My view of Lletget is more based on following reports from coaches and academy directors and trying to project. But I'm definately not in a position to make a strong agrument to support my 2 cents.

I have been in the tank for sometime for Lletget, Renken and Hyndman, so i have two left to hype.

I've been reading about this guy for years now, still never even seen a highlight video of his game. Does anyone have one handy?

He's played so little, nobody really does.

Everything you've read on this thread is simply conjecture. I have no idea how anybody can comment on his abilities with any confidence.

You'd be best off finding a new kid to hype. Renken was waived by Portland.

Sebbie has a long way to go. We're all cheering for him, but he's got a loooooooooong way to go. Odds are not good for him.

How many American's have dressed in the starting 18 just barely after turning 20 in the EPL ?
Baring injury, and probably just a matter of time, how many will or have played in an EPL game at 20? I don't know the answer but I'm sure it's no more than a few.

yes he has a long ways to go, but compared to all his fellow US peers he's way ahead.

He's 2o and the odds are actually quite good. If he were to crack their line-up in the next 6 months he would be in a very select company for a young American.
